As most reviewers have said, this dress runs large. A size small is too big and too long for a 5'3, 130 pound body. It also scrunches up on the sides a bit but I don't know if that is just because it is too big or if it's the cheap material. Either way, it is going to have to get altered. Other reviews said it is see through, which it is, but I think with spanx underneath you can't really tell. It is also very stretchy because my friend tried on the size small and she has a 38 G breast size 38 and about 180 pounds, and it still fit her. I love the style so I'm dealing with the not so great quality since I knew not to expect much from a $30 dress.Also, I have to exchange the size medium I bought for another size small, and they have very sweet and understanding customer service.They even said they will possibly make a smaller size in the future so hopefully that's true!

I was looking for an inexpensive solution for a masquerade party. I'm a curvy gal, and I've added some weight over the last couple of years, and was in that mode that nothing felt or looked right, but was pretty pleased with the fit and the silhouette - received quite a few compliments, and even felt a little sexy.No, it's not the most amazing quality you'll find, but definitely better than I expected, especially at this price point. It is quite a bit sheer, so plan to wear a sheath under (I wore one in black, but you could probably do a nude color slip as well). Would definitely buy it again for the same purpose.My only complaint is that it was quite wrinkled out of the packaging, and took some effort to iron. But it can be done - just remember don't keep the iron too high, minimal steam if any, and keep it moving - don't let it sit on the dress anywhere for any length of time!

This dress is gorgeous. The material was a surprise and is definitely on the cheap side, but the construction was great and the styling so perfect you honestly cannot tell this isn't a much more expensive gown. I originally purchased this and several other dresses trying to find one that worked for a specific party. I chose a different style and returned this, but honestly I'm missing it and will likely order another!It's a great fit for curvy girls, the size chart is pretty accurate, and the dress is VERY stretchy so I wouldn't worry about erring on the side of "too large". I actually could've sized down or worn the size I had comfortably. I am average/shorter at 5'5" and this dress definitely touches the floor, but was wearable with heels (otherwise you may want to have it hemmed slightly). The material is thin and the white parts are a bit see-through, so this definitely requires a slip or spanx or some other undergarments to avoid visible lines/etc.

I loved the dress, it was just entirely to big on me, I'm 5'7 about 180lbs I'm not necessarily fat, I carry most of it in my butt and thighs none in my upper body really so it was super loose around my arms. Anyways, I could have probably very easily fit a medium if not a small in the dress which is rare for me, but I feel if I would have gotten a smaller size it would have hung beautifully. The fabric is SUPER stretchy, I would have definitely bought another one, but I needed it sooner than when it was going to show up.

I ordered this dress for a Christmas party. I like it but will be taking it to get altered. I am 5'8" 130 lbs, pretty skinny, not too curvy so I ordered a small. This dress makes me looks like I have absolutely NO hips and am swimming in it. It will need to be taken in about 2" on each side. Fits well everywhere else but I'm hoping my tailor will be able to take it in. The fabric is pretty flimsy and thin though so we will see. Also, it's quite sheer/see through, so beware of that before buying. Overall, a pretty dress I just wish it had a better fit to it.

It fits well but the fabric does scrunch together. I got a size smaller because of the reviews. It is cut big so I recommend going down a size. But overall it is good for the value.

Received this dress today. Love it!!!! This dress is as described. It's stretchy yet silky with a cotton soft touch material. I'm 5.5 weight 158lbs and the M dress fits perfect. Also with heels it falls right where I want it without dragging on the floor. Hope this info can help other buyers. I highly recommend this dress.

Beautiful dress. Exactly what I wanted and expected. Except. It runs big. It's very fitted so there is no chance to alter it because the material is to thin.... More like a costume.
