OSCA OS125S106 10-Inch Club Hammer with Nylon Protection

A little disappointed in what I received but this is still a good quality hammer with good steel and a nice choice of slab for the handle/good grain. Unfortunately the mounting on this one was pretty bad. The epoxy is no longer applied and the end on mine was mangled and not flush or sealed in any way. At the bottom, they failed to clear the splintering and drove the protective sleeve over it/against it. Grind on both faces is uneven, which isn't a huge deal, but the brought it in too far and reduced the size of the face somewhat. Faces are slightly convex. Otherwise the head is nicely ground and finished. I contemplated sending it back but I think I'll keep it and touch things up a little, mix up a little epoxy myself. The handle is marked with the manufacturing date of 10/5/2022.

Extremely HIGH quality. When you first hold it in your hand the immediate feeling is it's the Ferrari of the hammer kingdom, but it's priced like a Ford. It's many different finishes are highly well thought out and the factory laser etched badges insignia gives back shocking professional wow! The hickory is fitted snug and shielded by a collar to prevent accidental damage if you miss the target and hit the handle. The faces are square to the handle the steel head is shaped for optimum surface face whacking while not overly weighted fat and it's still a very heavy hammer head. The head shape is unseen anywhere in the plannet, but well thought out to give optimum face witdth while putting the center of the head narrower they didn't waste the mass in the center. This gives a wider face for more strike contact. I would estimate this will shock my colleagues and quickly make others jealous as it's not a week known brand in my neck of the woods. But the brand has an excellent YouTube video online to educate buyers on their design and production and attention to detail. They are serrious about their product and with Amazon as a distributor you can get this now for an amazing affordable price and this will now begin to force especially American manufactures to improve their striking tools to be competive. This Italian made hammer is literally the Ferrari of the trade.
