Beautiful photos

This is a beautiful book, full of inspiring quilts, as well as the stories of the quilters themselves. I really enjoyed it and will refer to it again and again.

Beautiful book. Very informative regarding the Japanese system of quilting education, so different from ours. Would have liked more photos of quilts but there are a lot showing the varied styles of each quilter chosen to be included in the book. These quilters are known for their accomplishments and devotion to quilting and most have exhibited world wide. I'm glad I bought this book and I'm sure I will be rereading it several times.

I've enjoyed reading this book on Japanese quilts and learning about contemporary quilters.

Got this book as a gift for my best friends Aunt who loves quilts and quilting. I have been assured this is on the coffee table if not in hand being admired.

I was so excited to pre-order this book and it lived up to expectations! An in-depth look at how the Japanese incorporated American quilting into their own textile heritage, followed by profiles of eight quilt artists working in Japan today. Lots of beautiful photos and inspiration.

This is an absolutely gorgeous book. Quilts are incredible and very inspiring. I will enjoy this for years.

This book is fascinating and well illustrated. It describes the traditional and more modern schools of Japanese quilt making (which include years of learning the skills) and the work produced is inspirational.
