We use this for ingrown toenails and it is SHARP, so if you're using it for that, be aware that this, because it's a serious nipper. Remember to always wipe it down with rubbing alcohol after each use. It's very easy to control as well. It works well for both by husband and myself. 15 years ago I bought exactly the same nippers in Italy for myself. I had ingrown toe nails and these nippers are the best for that. They are very sharp, strong and despite their look they have a thinnest tip compared to any other clippers. Mine is still in like new conditions, but I bought this time for my wife, since she realized that these for her toe nails these nippers better than anything she had and started using mine. So now she's happy with her own Solingen nippers.

I bought these to trim my spouse's tough toenails and they (the nippers, not the toes) worked a treat. They are very sharp and were easier to use than I expected . . . which leads to the reason I only gave four stars: I was looking for something with longer handles (like my podiatrist uses) to get a little more leverage for my arthritic hands. However, as long as they stay sharp, I will be quite satisfied with them.

These did exactly what I needed. Very fine point with a long straight taper. Perfect fitment on the blades. Very very good product.

The head of these clippers are too thick and chunky to be any good for ingrown toenail. They might be just fine for regular, NOT ingrown nails. Clippers are bit heavy, and blades don't cut well, not sharp enough. Returned.

The nippers I received had two springs that met in the middle that were attached with tiny screws. When one of the screws popped out it would not screw back in, leaving just half a spring.

These pedicure nippers are great. I bought a pair 14+ years ago and they still work and look like new. This websites prices are much more reasonable than the retail store I used to shop. This pair will be given as a gift.
