Easy to work with, easy to lay down... So far we really like the product. Only time will tell for sure but it beats having that asphalt smell in your house with tar paper.

Bought 3 rolls of 3x33 and 3 rolls of 6x60 of this for added underlayment of my LVP. Used it in three rooms in my home and also to floor a 400 square foot cabin. This stuff works amazing well. Gives the flooring a smoother feel and allows to correct with minor sub-floor imperfections.One of my 6x60 rolls had imperfections of the insulation portion folded over on itself and glued to vapor barrier. Sent an inquiry to the manufacturer (MP-Global). They responded within 5 minutes. Sent them pics of the problem and copy of my order. Without any hassle, they immediately sent out a replacement roll that arrived the next day. Best customer service ever.

Used this underlayment for a DYI install of lvt. This product worked well, was pretty easy to install. Unfortunately our lvt was poor quality and was a nightmare to install, but that had nothing to do with the Quietwalk underlayment. It seems to really help with the noise of walking as it was installed in a loft above a garage. Would use it again.

Seems thin but works perfectly1.3 is all that's suggested for vinyl flooring thicker is not always better

Used this on the floor of our houseboat. Lays well and added a needed quietness when walking on the vinyl plank flooring we laid. Great product!

Product is not quite at all. If you are looking to have quite laminate flooring DO NOT buy this product!

Need help unfold part stick togther

I looked at very many websites before deciding to buy this product as it was highly rated. However, considering how expensive this plastic covered felt is I was very disappointed that the 2 rolls arrived and were package taped together within a thin clear plastic packaging and both rolls were flattened and elliptical in shape as they were unprotected from distortion in transit.Each roll was wrapped in sellotape that couldn't be removed as it destroyed the membrane so had to be left on. When laying the rolls, both of them each had a large area where the black plastic membrane appeared stretched and and rippled and was not attached to the felt (see photos).If this is their level of quality control then it requires a serious overhaul and rolls should have arrived in a sturdy cardboard box.
