Nova Utopia Toddler Little Boys Girls Summer Sandal Sneakers

My 4 year old LOVES the color orange, so I was pretty excited when I saw these. The first time he wore them was on vacation and he said they hurt his feet (we did a lot of walking). That was in April. We live in Michigan so it didnt really get warm here until the end of May. The first warm day, I had him try these again, and he has worn them pretty much every day since. He loves them. He wears them to the park, the zoo, to the store and also wears them all day at daycare with no issues or complaints. He has 4 other different pair of sandals that are similar in style, but different colors (and brands) and he always chooses these. The one elastic string did break today, so unfortunately he can't wear the shoes anymore, because it won't stay tied and it's just a matter of time before he will trip over the string. We are very active though and always doing something and these shoes took a beating and held up really well overall. One day we went to a fossil park and he stepped in a huge puddle of mud.... the shoes were covered. I brought them home, sprayed with the house and they looked good as new. Highly recommend.

My 3 yr old broke these the first time wearing them! He pulled the strings so hard they snapped on the one side. Not very durable and he just loves to play with it. Isn’t the best design for a toddler shoe. I bought a second pair to see if he could hang onto these ones. He has so far but broke the tip off one of the strings already. He can still wear them though so that’s helpful!Nonetheless, cool design, nice shoe but ultimately the strings could be better. The rest of the shoe itself looks like very good quality.

These are very cute and appear very well made. The only issue is that they are marked a size smaller than fit. My son is a solid size 13 but when I originally ordered a size 1 for the summer in a couple of months. They were way too small so I returned the original Nova ones and ordered these in a size 2 which fits perfectly. I wish they would adjust the sizing so that you can order the correct size the first time... But with free shipping and free returns... at least the exchange was easy. I will say they appear to be very sturdy quality. The rubber toe is thick and a little flexible and the inside of the seams are smooth. There are no stitches or tags that could cause irritation to the wearer. The style of the shoe is also really cute! I refuse to put my 5 year old in open toe shoes. He's far to active these shoes look as though they will adequately flex and protect his feet while being easy to clean and breathable.

These shoes are absolutely adorable! They arrived exactly as pictured. They seem comfortable too - haven't left any marks, blisters, etc and the soles are soft and sort of cushy. They do run true to size.I am giving four stars for two reasons: 1) the bows keep coming off. I actually bought a pink and teal pair and the bows have come off each one, each shoe. I've super glued them back on each time but at least one has come off even after super gluing. Honestly though, they don't look bad without the bows!2) The Velcro part doesn't seem to line up exactly when you bring it to the other side. It stays, but just seems a little uneven. That's just more of an aesthetic complaint though.

At this price point I’m very happy with the quality and style of these sandals for my 3.5 year old son. He’s in size 9-10 in everyday shoes now so I ordered these sandals in 9 to account for the no sock effect. They give him a bit of room to grow. I prefer sandals to fit smaller vs bigger so they’re more of a secure fit when kids are running and such. The Velcro closure across the top will get a lot of use with daily on/off and that’s the one part of these that is somewhat questionable quality. Again, at this price I’m fine with it.

I chose this for a closed toe and heel for my toddler. It is cute, has a flexible sole, and well made. The downside is it runs large, it's about 1/4 inch larger than the same size Nikes. So instead of a little large to grow in, it was almost unwearable. But shoe inserts solved that problem, just doesn't look as good. And I couldn't return them because my kid refused to take them off, the soles are already scuffed after one day.

Really love this sandal. My kid has wide feet. This has enough room. Even though she wears a size 5, I got her the size 6 and she could still technically wear it. It was big and had room but the Velcro straps helped them stay on her feet. She wore them out the first day we got them and wasn’t uncomfortable at all. They are soft, well made and have great grip on the bottom. Besides all of the above, they’re very easy to get on & pretty too! She should be able to use these for a long time. Will definitely buy in more colors and sizes as she grows!!

These sandals were inexpensive, but also not very sturdy. My son wore them almost every day for a couple of months over the summer. After a couple months, the laces came apart and you could no longer tighten them on his feet. I didn’t expect much for the price, and these didn’t exceed expectations.
