Banana Boat Hair & Scalp Defense Sunscreen, Broad Spectrum Clear Spray, SPF 30, 6oz.

So, I have fine, thin hair and sunburn my scalp easily, I've been looking for years for a product made specifically for scalp/hair because sunscreen is a greasy mess, and I don't really like to wear a hat. I tried for the first time today as it was finally an outside day, sprayed in like hair spray, didn't notice a scent, so would say it can't be overpowering. I not only didn't burn today, but my hair looked and felt the same as any other day, so definitely did not leave it feeling like when I use regular sunscreen. Thank you for finally making a product like this

Great product...does NOT leave hair feeling greasy!

Had a spot on my head removed by a dermatologist because of skin cancer so I wanted to make sure I protected my head from the sun This sunscreen is lightweight and doesn't make your hair feel dirty I love it!

I thought that since this product was for hair and scalp it would not contain avobenzone!!! IT DOES. BEWARE. That is the ingredient that turns your hair orange! It does not wash out! UGH!

Fantastic product! Great for -1.the part of your forehead kind-of covered in hair, but that still burns in the sun, which is hard to get with lotion type sunscreen 2. to quickly coat your ears in sunscreen (plug them first) 4. For the part in your hairdo- even doubles as hairspray 3.for thinning/balding scalps. It's kind of like a dry oil, kind of like hairspray. I use it almost every summer day, it has solved my sunburn problem! My husband has thinning hair, and was wearing a ball cap to prevent sunburn, but this keeps him much cooler on super hot days. PS flaking scalp sunburns can appear to be dandruff!

Not gonna lie, my hair was GREASY but when we got home and I showered, my platinum blonde hair wasn't damaged from the Sun. Everytime we go to the beach, the sun and the Ocean water dry out my hair and I have to go get the damage cut off. This was my first time using a sunscreen on my hair and it worked!!! My hair looks great!

I got this so I didn't always have to wear a hat to protect my scalp from being burnt. However it made my hair appear very greasy, even though it says non-greasy on the bottle. I ended up having to wear a hat anyway.

I wanted something that would go on more like a dry hairspray and and not change the texture of my hair. I don't need it to go on "wet"---I might as well wear a hat.
