These containers arrived at my house in perfect condition. They are really durable, high quality containers and they have an AIRTIGHT seal! Absolutely perfect for all my hunting gear. Everything fits perfect inside. These containers spent the night in the rain during opening weekend and no water whatsoever was in them. All of my gear was dry. They fit perfect on the trailer and work as a good seat or step stool. I'm 200 pounds and used one of them as a step stool in my cabin. No issues at all.I also have a few action packer totes that I have been using. I will be replacing all those totes with all IRIS Weather-Resistant totes. The IRIS totes are more heavy duty, have an airtight seal, stainless steel latches, and stack perfectly. I also like the fact that you can attach a padlock. Might have to do this when their just sitting around.5-stars to IRIS for making a great product. Can't wait to recommend them to all my friends. I think I might have to add a couple of these totes to my camper for all the camping supplies.

I'm an archaeologist who does lots of fieldwork. I need rugged storage and even sometimes a container like this to serve as luggage to Africa/locked storage on arrival there at the field camp. ActionPackers are clunky and have awkward interior spaces making it difficult to keep things organized. Plus they are heavy for shipping, and expensive. Back in the 1990s I purchased a great storage/shipping trunk (can't remember the brand), and it served me well for years. But then major brands started seriously downgrading their plastics, and I never again found something as satisfactory. Over the years I have bought 5 other plastic trunks, and they have all wimped out in one way or another - busted handles, busted lids, you name it, usually within 1 year of purchase, and I knew they would. The IRIS is what I have been seeking all these years. I received mine 1 month ago and based on its rugged construction I would not hesitate to take it to Africa. It's also great around the house. Neat, elegant, strong but not too heavy, and suitable for no-nonsense locking. Stacking is a breeze and yes, if you are of moderate weight you can sit on it with the lid closed. The brown colors are nice for outdoor settings - they blend in. And the gasket around the top does make this weatherproof. I'm about to buy another set of four to use in my basement to keep stuff free from summertime mildew. Many thanks for creating a superior product!

I’m simply amazed at how fresh these containers keep my clothing fresh in the basement. We have a moisture/mold issue being next to the bay and having so much humidity build up sometimes in the summers. We used to put clothes in regular containers and they’d inevitably start growing mold which is gross and unhealthy.Since we’ve had these, clothes come out fresher than they did going in, serious, it’s like a time capsule. There was a tent that smelled like mildew after a year but thinking back it was due to me putting it in when it had the smell building from not putting it in sooner. These are remarkable and well built too. It’s too bad people leave bad reviews for damaged arrivals since it has nothing to do with the product itself.Trust me, these are 10 stars. They’re basically $25 a piece if you wait for the price to come down which is a steal for the build quality. I’ve ordered my third set and was going to order a 4th and 5th but didn’t have the space and am trying to minimize. Only gripe (if you could even call it that) is that I wish they had larger bin options exactly like this for big duvets and other large items, it’s not the most spacious. Other than that, it’s a winner.I haven’t ever tested them outdoors but have no doubt that it would survive in rain, snow, hail or any reasonable element you can throw at it. At first glance, these totes appear to be very expensive when you consider the cost of other totes of comparable size. But these have airtight seals which protects your contents in a way that the less expensive totes do not.They are built incredibly sturdy. Even the lids are very thick and will tolerate being stacked without the lid crushing inwards.These will last for years and years. Definitely worth the money.I bought these because I wanted something airtight to store my dry-good foods.These are nicely sized, and will hold a lot of food per tote.They will also work for storing photo albums and not worrying that the photos will absorb moisture when the humidity levels get high.

While the quality is good, I would recommend not buying them. I purchased them twice now and both times they came busted and broken. There is no packaging to protect them in transport. At a minimum, they should have styrofoam protecting the corners.

very solid, thick plastic. stackable. replaceable weather sealing that keeps it air tight and water free.a lid came cracked, and support was prompt and helpful in getting me a replacement, which arrived as promised and undamaged.highly recommend, best value for the money by far and good support.
