Char-Broil Signature 530 4-Burner Cabinet Gas Grill with Char-Broil 3-4 Burner Large Rip-Stop Grill Cover

This is one of the best grills I have ever owned. It has very even heat and rarely flares up.There are no hot spots. I was a bit skeptical of some other reviews about the even heat but I have been pleasantly surprised. I can cook food anywhere on the grill surface without worrying about moving it around to get everything cooked evenly.I cooked 5 pounds of chicken legs and thighs, skin on, and had only a tiny flare up that burned itself out after a few seconds without burning the food. Nice crispy skin with no black. All of the fat and grease collects in the grease tray below and is easy to empty.The grill struggles a bit when it comes to searing but it can cook a few medium ribeye steaks in about 10 minutes with no problem.I have cooked a few pizzas on it and they come out great too. Preheat to 600°F then set burners to a bit above low. Cook for about 7-8 minutes.The assembly took some time but it was mostly straight forward. There are a lot of pieces to put together but it was pretty easy. My two sons, 7 and 9, did nearly all of the assembly work in about 2 hours while I helped them understand the instructions.

The stainless steel is nice, which is what I was looking for, the price was right (i'm not gonna pay Weber money), and char-broil is a brand I've trusted in the past, but I'm pretty disappointed in this grill. Within the first week of use, as soon as some moisture got into it, the starter button failed. The manufacturer sent me a new starter module, but that was not the issue, they sent me a new starter button after I told them it was likely the problem. When I disassembled the old starter button, I saw the problem. There was only a flimsy piece of rubber covering the top of the switch from the body of the button, which would clearly allow moisture to get in and mess with the contracts, so I sealed the area around this rubber to keep moisture out and it's worked ok since. I have to press the button pretty hard to get it to work, but at least it works now. Poor starter button design. My old cheaper grill had a much better button and worked every time with an easy press.The other issue is the grill has clear hot spots to one side and cooler spots to the other. Leads to an uneven cooking surface. Another poor design as the gas enters from the "hot" side rather than the middle for more even gas distribution. The knobs don't offer a whole lot of temperature variation, either.Lastly, the temp gauge in the cover is super inaccurate. It tells me the grill is 500-600 degrees if i have the lid closed longer than 5 minutes and knobs in low-medium range. There's no way it gets that hot.I'll use it until it dies, but this grill was overpriced for all it's flaws. If you want an all stainless grill, look elsewhere.

I found it to be very consistent across the entire cooktop. Heat's up very quickly and was a breeze to take apart and clean

So far this has been a great grill, it gets very hot, very fast and can cool cooler in the back on on the top rack, and seer in the front. Electronic ignition and gas pressure sensor are great adds to make cooking even easier. Drip pan has seen three grillings and is only half-full. No rust after a couple of storms, we'll see how it holds up to the weather long term.

We bought this grill less than one year ago, on June 1st, 2018. We used it two times. We put it away for the winter in our garage. We recently took it out and tried to use it. IT IS NOT WORKING! Gas is not flowing to the grill—we tried 3 different full tanks. When the gas did flow, it flowed very little and the grill barely heated up. We had to bring the food into the house and cook in our oven.

Worked great for the first six months. I was also enamored by the 'no flare up', even-heat style cooking. A couple issues we ran into.. 1. The 'stainless steel' perforated pans that separate the cooking grates from the flame get caked up from juices and food that naturally fall from food cooking on the grates. That caked up food then, if not cleaned up, acts like an insulator and prevents even heat distribution. 2. The perforated stainless steel diffuser pans rusted out after only one year. 3. The side of the grill rusted through at a point beween the perforated stainless steel pans and rhe burners are. Every once in a while, a lick of the burner flame would poke out of the side of the frill where the shelf was. A fire and to me, a safety hazard. No comment from the manufacturer when i contacted them.

We loved the easy-to-follow instruction manual. We were able to put it together correctly following the diagrams. The food we grilled on this grill was delicious. It cooks hot, so we cooked food on low/medium setting. Very pleased with this product!

Very nice grill lots of cooking space assembly went well do think it would have been better with written instructions instead of pictures but seems to be sturdy and cooks food evenly
