ArtFolds: Heart: Random Acts of Caring (1) (ArtFolds Color Editions)

A dear friend sent me this book. It was so easy to understand and I had the whole book folded within an evening. It’s lovely to stand it up on the table (if you love books!). I choose to use this as a book to save precious words. Maybe it’s a meaningful Bible verse, maybe a joke someone told me that made me laugh forever! I’m just putting one idea on each page, maybe it’ll be the day my son gets married, maybe the days I want to remember about my best friend. Just moments that are precious in my heart! I’m going to cherish it for a long time.

I first purchased one of these for myself and then one for a 10 year old as a gift. This requires a lot of patience as you have to fold each page two times (once at the top and once at the bottom). The good news is that the book is printed with two different colors to guide you where to fold. It looks like a regular book prior to folding. Size wise: It is sightly smaller than a hardcover novel and it is about 4 inches wide after folding. If you make crisp folds, if could be thinner. The only downfall to this is that the instructions are not great for a child as I had to explain the process to the 10 year old, but it is easy to understand. I recommend this project for even those who don't craft at all!

Different than other Artfolds I've done. Written pages only beginning and end of book. Edges aren't as crisp, some separation of fibers from folds. I prefer the bigger books with words.

I recently bought a second heart one as a Valentine gift, and am waiting for MOM to be released in March. This will be a great gift for a new mom. One reason these books are special is because the actual book relates to the words or figures displayed. You can find instructions for folding figures, but these books have the pages marked and you do not have to measure. Tell Luciana to please make a Friend or Best Friend book.If you are buying this as a gift and think the recipient might not have time to fold the book, as in the coming Mom book, buy 2, fold one and let them read the unfolded book. They can either keep this as a reference or reading book, or fold it and give it as a gift later.

lovely book, i purchased this book for my child and it is quite easy to complete. It helps the time go by fast considering school is out and the children are home. Book came fast and the company is amazing.

My grand daughters, ages 12 and 13, were off-the-charts excited about this new adventure!! They talked, laughed, and enjoyed every minute of this project!! I ordered the heart and flower artfold for both of them. As soon as they were finished with the heart, they proceeded to start and finish the flower. Both projects were completed with sleep being the last thing on their mind. I am definitely ordering more for their Christmas presents - crafts they enjoy....this project was LOVED!!!

I bought this book for my adult daughter for Valentine's Day. She loved it and immediately folded the pages. She said it was easy. Since then I have bought the "LOVE" book for a 50th anniversary gift, and started folding and it is very easy. I've also bought the "Read" book on pre-order. Just for me.

I'm sure it's lovely but I just don't get it. Look on Pinterest and see if you've got the patience for this. I think I'll gift it. It's a very nice book.
