What a novel idea to ship these bird spikes unassembled, making them eco-friendlier! The packaging was relatively small and all parts were present. It took a little time to assemble the bird spikes but they were easy to do. I used an adhesive to secure them. Worked great. I purchased more for additional areas because I liked them so much.

Takes some time to put the things together but not hard to do. If they came assembled they would cost three times as much or more so just be prepared to sit down for awhile and do it. Most important they have stopped the birds from perching on the conduit in my boat dock and pooping on my boat.

Love that it actually keeps birds away and the nuisance cat using a tree as a jumping point off my roof! However putting each spike in by hand was not pleasant and time consuming.

Birds don’t mess with this. No more poop around the front door.

Fairly easy to assemble. My son (elementary schooler) was able to assemble these once he got the hang of it. For installation I needed to use the extension on the power screwdriver since normal bits aren’t long enough to reach the plate through the spikes. But with that extension, installation was super easy. And best of all, I put these on fence hoping to keep away squirrels or whatever it was that was eating the fruits on the trees close to the fence and it seems to have worked quite well for that purpose. Happy to have saved most of our oranges, figs and other fruit this season. I’ve ordered one more of these now.

We had a problem with a neighbors cat jumping our fence and into our yard. The cat entered at one area of fence near our waterfall and would prey on birds that come to drink, in addition the cats jumping pulled down party lights attached to the fence and shorted out 2 strands! Grrr. We tried cayenne pepper on the top of fence but would work only temporarily. These spikes were the perfect solution. They were easy to screw into the top rail and we have not seen the cat since! And the replaced party lights still work. Birds and us are happy!!

I wanted to keep birds off a section of my fence where they'd sit and poop on my chairs, so I bought these and it works. It also keeps the pesky squirrels off that part of the fence and allowed me to run bistro lights through them (squirrels had chewed up a set of them and stolen the lights last year). Very small birds can land in them but they don't bother much. Assembly was a bit of a pain & tedious (inserting prongs through the holes and pull through) and you have to be careful for any that pop out and fly before you get them through enough, but it's easy to understand how to put them together.

These are at a great price point, but are tedious to set up. These also come with some zip ties so you don't necessarily have to buy your own.

We live in the country. The birds have acres of trees to nest on. They instead pick our shed. Ha ha. My husband installed these and now we are coexisting. Thanks.

Li ho utilizzati per salvare 12 metri di sottotetto in campagna, dove i piccioni nidificavano sporcando in modo indecente. Ho prima montato tutti i ferretti sulla base, lavoro facilissimo, poi li ho invitati sulle traverse in legno del sottotetto con viti di 4x16. Ho utilizzato i dissuasori da 30 cm, il lavoro è un po' più lungo ma si possono coprire spigoli e modanature senza doverli tagliare anche se è possibile adattarli facilmente piegandoli. Nessun piccione è tornato! Se dovete incollarli consiglio un biadesivo a forte tenuta e una buona pulita alla parte su cui montate i dissuasori, ma se potete usate le viti.

hat sich nun schon einige Zeit lang bewährt. Die Edelstahl Teile sind hochwertig und passgenau gefertigt. Montiert habe ich sie auf zwei Aluminium Fensterbretter. Die Montage war recht leicht. Habe mit Blechschrauben befestigt.Die Vögel, welche unters Dach nisten, haben sich von meinen beiden Fenstern entfernt weil ja kein Landeplatz mehr vorhanden ist, sie leben nun beim Nachbarn. Bin rundum zufrieden mit dem Verkäufer, der Material Qualität und dem Wirkungsgrad.....kann ich weiter empfeheln.
