Description corrected, easy install item
First off, between the time I ordered and the time I received the item, the text describing it as having 3 flow settings was removed from the Product Description. Kind of a bummer because I was careful to order from a vendor I thought actually had the 3 flow version in stock, but at least they've corrected it now for truth in advertising. That said, the item I did receive installed very easily to my bathroom sink faucet. It has a sturdy metal quick-connect coupling and the only part that is plastic is the hose attachment, which never needs to be unscrewed from the quick-connect piece, so need to worry about the threads stripping. The only parts that are intended to encounter repeated removal/connection are metal on metal, which bodes well for their longevity. There seems to be a small amount of backflow at the coupling connection when I click the sprayer handle to 'off/pause', but it's only a small overflow into the sink, not a wild spraying as I've had happen with other products. That's at nearly full pressure, too.I haven't tried it with the dogs yet, but it's feels far sturdier and easier to deal with than my old tub faucet sprayer - the kind that just slips over the faucet, blows off with too much water pressure, etc. The 8 ft hose is more than long enough to reach the short distance from the sink to the tub, but mine are located next to each other so you might want to measure yours to be safe.Planning to wrestle the fur babies tonight. Will let you know how it goes.

Fits the Faucet and doesn't Leak!!
We removed the piece holding the aerator, and the attachments screwed right in, just as pictured in the directions. The only suggestion I have for the directions is that the drawing of the shape of the first piece that goes in isn't quite what it looks like, but it's easy to figure out. We had tried another brand and it leaked very badly - it didn't screw into the faucet, which is what you really need. It's easily removed also, if you want to use the bathtub for you own bath. The way it's designed it can be unscrewed easily. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 is because of the water pressure flow - the water needs to come out with more force. We have a long haired dog and this will take awhile to rinse her well as her hair is fairly thick. We looked for a removable water-restricter part, but there isn't one, it's just the way this is designed.Overall we're pleased, and it's a keeper!

Once Installed, a Great Dog-bathing Sprayer
Other reviewers have mentioned that there is a permanent aerator replacement that goes into your faucet. One reviewer wrote about his experience with this in the tub. I didn't get the tub sprayer so I can't speak to his review. The unit I am reviewing is the sink sprayer. I agree that the piece you install into your faucet is stiff. It seems solidly made, and takes somebody with the right tools and strong hands to install. To my way of thinking, this is a positive. I may end up learning differently, but right now it gives the sense that the unit is permanent and durable.Since my husband installed the aerator into the faucet, I have practiced taking the hose attachment off and putting it back on. I agree there is a trick to it. With a bit of practice, I feel I've pretty much got it down now. I prefer to have something I have to work at simply because it gives me a sense that the unit is durable. Again, I may feel differently in a month or two - but for now, I'm favorably impressed. Many reviewers do not like that you have to hold the thumb-press button to make the water spray. My thinking differs from theirs in this respect, also. We are encouraged to be water-conscious and "green" but that''s always been a pain, because before I had this sprayer I had to turn the whole faucet off. Then I'd end up spending 5 minutes trying to get the exact right temperature back again. How is that water-conscious? Now that I have this sprayer, I can set the faucet once for the correct temperature, and a press of my thumb brings the right temp back again with little delay. That's better! The unit has plenty of hose length, enabling me to get all the way around my Miniature Schnauzers. Personally, I find the sprayer (so far) to be exactly what I wanted. I will update this review periodically if any of my initial impressions change over time.

Low-Flow Water Volume is troubling.
Works as somewhat as advertised but pressure is not what I was expecting or need. I hooked it up to a laundry room faucet. Even with the hot and cold water on full blast, the pressure seemed very low. There might be some sort of flow regulator inside the hose connection (similar to a low-flow shower head) that is restricting flow, but I did not find it. Our dog (25lb Wheaton Terrier puppy) hates getting baths and he is trying to jump out of the wash basin constantly. The low flow takes us much longer to give him a bath than it would if we could wet, wash and rinse faster with higher water flow. I don't see how this would work very well with a larger dog.If you buy one, make sure you get the right adapter (if you need one) to connect to your faucet. My laundry faucet was a male thread as was the connector on the Pet Shower connector. I needed to buy a threaded adapter to work with mine. The one I bought was a "LASCO 09-1607 Female To Female Faucet Adapter" that I bought on Amazon. (You need a female-to-female adapter to connect the 2 male-to-male ends of the aparatus together.)

Good if outdoor hook up available
I like it because it travels easily. We have two labs that we travel with all the time and swimming is part of their life. It is easy to hook up to an outdoor faucet which you can usually find somewhere around the outside of a hotel. I did not, however, find the indoor hook up easy. I don't travel with a wrench and it does not work in hotel bathtub faucets where the pull up triggers the shower because when you insert the travel hose, you push up the lever so the water comes out of the top not the bottom. I did not find the sink faucet hook up to work easily in the one place I tried it.
