Sally Hansen - Good. Kind. Pure Vegan Nail Polish, Raw Cocoa, Packaing May Vary

This is the absolute perfect "my nails but better" shade for me. Not too pink, not too beige. Love the demi matte finish. Lasts for about a week and is super easy to apply and dries quickly.

Goes on smoothly, very durable, gorgeous color for fall/winter. Love it!

When this first came in I procrastinated painting my toes which I desperately needed to do. Once I did them in under a minute I decided to do my hands too which I haaaattte doing. So fast and easy, even with left painting right, like three strokes max per nail, great coverage, no need for multiple coats. Fast drying time too!!!

Initially, I wasn't sure about the color, as it looked really purple when it arrived and I was wanting more of burgundy with brown undertones; however, after 2 coats it's exactly what I was wanting-- a beautiful rich burgundy-coffee color for autumn. Goes on nicely and dries quickly. Good brush, IMO. Love that this formula is on the clean side, too. 👍

I don’t know much about nail polish so I’m not sure if that’s normal with white or lighter color polishes, but only after a few days the color starts turning gaining a yellow tint which I did not love. The polishes initial color was exactly what I was looking for but I was surprised by the yellowing.

I prefer to use non-toxic products and wanted a good top coat for my ILNP nail polish. I’m a little disappointed. Maybe it’s my fault but I was expecting this to be glossier. The shine is definitely there but when it picks up the light it actually makes my ultra holographic nail polish look a bit dull and lifeless. I don’t know how else to describe it. I think it’s because it picks up a lot of indents while drying so its a textured shine that makes it feel more matte. Maybe this would have looked good on a creme nail polish but it just distracting over the holo.Edit: it’s a great top-coat if you have the time to let it dry. My initial check for dry nail polish is if I can gently rub my finger on top without smudging. My final test for checking if my nail polish is completely dry is if I can touch/rub the top of one nail to another without them gripping or sticking to each other. It takes 3 hours or longer to reach that point. It looks way better now than the first time I used it, but I literally couldn’t do anything with my hands for 3 hours and there’s still indents after the fact. They just aren’t as noticeable and don’t dull the shine like last time. I recommend keeping thin coats with this. It will make your polish last longer and give it a nice shine, but the dry time is absolutely ridiculous. I’ll use it when I have time but I might need to look for another non-toxic option. This one isn’t practical.
