Bought and used for the first time today. I have 4A type hair and it worked better than any comb or afro pick i've used before to detangle my hair. You need to use quite a bit of conditioner or wet your hair thoroughly for it to work effectively. Given 4 stars as the tool to separate the comb could be better designed to hold the teeth of the comb firmly.

I prefer the ones without the handle.Unfortunately I don’t use it very often

Great brush for curly hair or Afro hair, really gets through the thickness and hurts less than a comb for my little girl. Soft and easy to use. Great brush. Brings the hair to life and helps maintain moisture with the right products used, keeps it looking good with body and combs through well.

CANNOT be used on dry mixed / or Afro hair. Ok when it is drenched trough or completely saturated with product.Not much improvement on breakage for me personally.But does cut down on detangling time

Detangles my natural hair with ease and less shedding as normal. I recommend this product to all naturals as a staple brush.

I wish I had brought one sooner, less hair shed.
