Good for dry ball joints, flows easily because it is almost a liquid. I used a grease needle to install grease inside my ball joints on my car.

This appears to be a very good product. I purchased it because I have a number of grease fittings that needed lubrication but my old grease gun had given up. I purchased a new gun and this tube of grease to go along with it.The only problem was that Amazon simply threw this tube into a padded envelope and shipped it. When it arrived the end of the tube with the pop top was crushed and the tube was open. I should have just returned it but I didn't want to go through the hassle and then wait another week for a replacement.So I spent 20 minutes making that end of the tube round again and evening up the edges so that it would fit and seal in the gun. After that I was able to load the tube into my new gun. I've used it several times now and everything appears to be working.I would rate this product as having 5 stars but the Amazon shipping method has only 1 star. This should have be placed the tube in a box for shipping. These tubes are too easily crushed when shipped in an envelope.

Before I installed this regulator I gave it a good looking over. Looks to be well made and thoroughly lubricated. It was a perfect fit and functioned smoothly and quietly.What's BetterMy original old regulator failed when the plastic rivets connecting the output gear to the lift arm sheered. While plastic sheer rivets seem like a good idea on paper, in practice they seem only an Achilles heel. The new regulator from Dorman uses steel rivets so this failure mode is gone.More DetailsOf course you will need to reuse your old motor but you will also need to move over your old rubbing block and this is very easy to move over from the old lift. I included a picture of this old part after I put it on the new regulator.What Might Be BetterAt the price point of this item it is a good value. The only thing I changed about it was the lubricant. I felt it could move more easily if I applied my own lubricant choices so I removed the factory lubricant and applied ones of my choosing. It did move more easily. Just a personal preference.

Probably good product. But I received broken container during transportation. All other items got stains. Even wrapping into food foil would make a difference and would be secured. I have to reorder it. But seler is fine.

Lucas offer superior quality to most other greases on the market. This green HD grease does not feed as easy as the red Lucas grease though my Milwaukee grease gun. The Green seems a little thicker.

I learned some things about grease and decided to upgrade from the cheap lithium complex grease I'd been using all these years. A good grease helps mower deck spindles, for example, last a long time. John Deere brand polyurea is really good but i could never find out whether it's a shear stable grease. Some have claimed it is not. This is somewhat important to me because regular polyurea grease is not compatible with the old lithium complex grease that's already in my equipment. Shear stable polyurea grease, such as this Lucas X-tra Heavy Duty, is compatible and wow, what a great price. Great reviews. I tend to put a large measure of trust into the opinions of those who've used equipment for many years.

Nice and sticky

This is great grease and I use it for many applications. Using it now to grease my new mower spindles. Another reviewer does not understand that the tube weighs 14.5 oz and grease is heavy. That means the volume would be lower giving them the 12 oz of volume. Mass does not equal volume with grease or almost any other substance.
