This swift is beautiful to look at. I received it as a gift and immediately loved it. I was able to use it only 3 times before the tightening knob stripped completely and the swift can no longer be tightened enough to hold up yarn while winding. It’s beautiful to look at but doesn’t work at all for any type of winding of hanks. I’m super sad!

The swift is beautiful and the wood work great. Had significant issues getting the key that keeps the umbrella open. After receipt the screw thread wastoo short and while using the umbrella closed. Figured away to make it work but the engineering could be better

This seems very sturdy and was easy to assemble. There are some screws that my yarns has gotten stuck on a few times. I'm wondering how that could be avoided but mostly this has been great.

I love this swift!!! It’s amazing and makes caking fun and easy!! No more hand spinning balls!!!!! Yeah!!!

This review is for the extra large size swift. It is beautiful, solidly made, and worked smoothly and silently. It arrived in just over a week, and came well insulated and packaged. I'm very pleased.

I wish I’d tried this out before the return window passed. The swift doesn’t secure well—it either topples over or slides off the table surface while winding.

The media could not be loaded.  Very well made, solid wood and finishes it already looks like an antique even when they are not trying that. I love it so much I decided it to volunteer with a good review

Beautiful & functional. So glad I finally bought it!

This was purchased as a present. It arrived late so missed the birthday but more disappointing is that the screw threads jump so it doesn’t clamp to the table at all. We’ve ended up using “G-clamps” to secure it to the table. The screw thread to hold up the arms are also dodgy, so will have to get another smaller ‘g-clamp’ to hold it up.

This is a beautifully made swift... and it spins like a dream...it clamps to a table fine and stays in place....thought i'd make a drawstring bag to store it..

It looked so good, however the thread on the screw clamp for the table fixing was not adequate and would not hold. I have returned the item but so disappointed, as the assembly could have been checked before dispatch. Ultimately, not fit for purpose.

The wood used here is really high quality, great finish to it and the product is simple to use. Works perfectly with the wool winder keeping a nice steady flow of yarn from the hank.

I bought this as a present for my wife. The product is well made, good value and she is very happy with it.
