Towel soft but too thick for airline travel
It is much softer than some other microfiber towels. Color is vibrant but I have not washed it yet. The only problem is I bought it for a cruise and it is much thicker and heavier than I wanted in my luggage. I bought a different microfiber towel the same dimensions and it is one third the size of this towel when folded up. Now the other towel is not nearly as soft but space matters when I am trying to do carry on only. I will keep it but it's not going to be an airline travel towel.

soft towel
Nice soft towel; large size works well for me.

Not exactly a swimmer's towel, but enough and very soft
I do love it, however...it is not exactly what the description describes, a swimmers towel. A true swimmers towel dries you fast and does not absorb water and also folds a bit smaller. This towel does absorb SOME water, but is very soft. However I would not return it, I will probably order a couple more.

Not your ordinary towel!
I ordered this towel to take kayaking, swimming, camping and rafting. I wanted one that was absorbant yet compact enough for a dry bag or backpacking. I was definitely surprised at how big it is, a grown adult can stretch out on this towel. This towel is pleasantly soft and very absorbant. I did a test with a cup of water and with one wipe it absorbed all of the water and evidence of the water. Will be great for my kids who are big swimmers, keeping them dry and warm. Definitely not your ordinary towel! I couldnt see stocking my closet with these but at times when you need to get dry quick or need a dependable towel to avoid being cold its a winner. I havent washed it yet but will provide an update when I do.Disclaimer: I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review. I am under no obligation to leave a positive review and receive no incentives for doing so. As such, the discounted price DID NOT persuade my review. It is super absorbent and great especially in winter when it's hard to get out knowing how cold it is. It's also huge so you can wrap yourself up. It looks as good as the day I purchased. Best towel ever...seriously.

Soft, quick dry, and gigantic!
I had a huge box show up on my doorstep in the mail and I was trying to remember what the heck I ordered, because I wasn't expecting this to be so big, which was a nice surprise. The towel is huge, and while it folds smaller than normal terrycloth towels of this size, it is still larger when folded than I would expect for a camping/hiking towel. It is lightweight which is good, and soft. This is the type of towel that absorbs a lot of water, and dries quickly, which is great for travel because it sucks to pack up wet items only to have them smell bad a few days later when unpacked.I do have a small hand towel sized similar towel that came with a nice mesh bag that I could zip it into as a space saver, so it would be nice for the company (which is largely embroidered on the towel) to perhaps consider including something to that effect in the future which would make it an ideal item for camping and hiking. I have some travel cubes that I may just throw it into one when I go camping.I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest review. The price is on par with similar towels at sporting goods stores, but I don't think I would have purchased at full price. It was something I wanted, but didn't need so could not justify full price, as a big plush beach towel usually costs under $20 so I would get that instead. However, if this thing stands up to the test of time, it would make it a good value.

Big Full Body Towel That Works Great, Does Not Smell, and Folds Up Small
This is the second time I've bought, and I can tell you these micro-fiber towels are fabulous. My older son was wrapped up in it this evening and said it's even better than a blanket. The towel really is THAT soft. The Fleifoil microfiber towel is huge. I'm talking beach towel big. It is taller than I am (my height is 5 foot 5 inches), and it's plenty big enough to wrap around and not have any "fails."This is a towel you pat with to dry rather than rubbing like a regular towel. Just pat, pat, pat, and hang it up. It is dry very quickly. It depends on the weather, but it is fast growing and does not get smelly like many towels can.The towels wash fine and are best air dried. The dryer does something to them so that they do not work as well, but if you accidentally put it in the dryer, just wash it again. It is fine after that. Voice of experience on that.I got a reduced price to write an honest review which is the only kind I write. Being familiar with these towels, I was thrilled to get one and tell others about it. I suspect my older son will be taking this one back to college and that I'll need to get myself one. From now on, I'd prefer these towels to the old style that take up so much more room and can end up smelly.

The towel is a very high quality towel, very ...
The towel is a very high quality towel, very plush feeling. The color is also very vibrant (have not washed it yet, so not sure if the color will fade upon washing but as received the color is gorgeous) The edging is very secure and even, I have seen some towels where the finished edges are sewn so poorly, not the case with this towel - very even and high quality workmanship. My only complaint with the towel is the word 'Flexfoil' machine embroidered upon the towel. I totally missed the description where it stated the word Flexfoil would be machine embroidery it. The thread was an muted gray - takes away from the vibrant purple towel. The font size is over 1" high /about 6' in length - a tag sewn in the edging would have been enough of a identifier for the company's name - but that is my personal preference - not one who likes 'names' on items.
