Beard is nice and soft after applying and the face isn't itchy. So the product works.Moreover the scent is very subtle which is a huge plus in my book. Most of their competitors make you smell like you dunked your head in aftershave.Hopefully this company remains under the radar and is not bought out by one of the megacorporations like Cremo was (which promptly ruined their product).

The search for a good beard wash that can do it all is over for me. For a very long time I have just used shampoo, bars of natural soap, or my wife's expensive shampoo to wash my facial hair. Not anymore! I am careul to read ingredients on products because I prefer natural ones. I read the other reviews before deciding to buy this and was unsure about the scent as this wash contains lime. I must say it smells fresh, clean, and unique. It smells great to me and I do not notice any sort of "chemical" smell as another reviewer noted. This wash leaves my beard smelling fresh, feeling soft, and my skin moisturized. It does not feel like it is harsh on the hair at all. It leaves my beard feeling great.+ Easy to Apply+ Easy to Rinse+ Awesome Scent+ Many Natural Ingredients- Kinda spendy for the size (tho not a con to me because this stuff is awesome)_Bottom Line_ Yes, I would recommend this to a friend and I will also continue using it. This wash is pricey given the size but a little bit goes a very long way and this stuff lasts quite a long time.

I use all kinds of different beard shampoos, conditioners, creams and oils. I often take a break from using them when I'm going to try a new product so I can really tell what kind of effect it has on my beard. I've used the Bluebeards Original Beard Wash for about a week and a half and the results are obvious: it works.My beard comes out very soft, very clean, and I feel it does a good job moisturizing the skin underneath. The sheen of my beard is more aided by conditioners, but this stuff did seem to have a positive effect. It lathers on well and washes away easily and I'd say it does everything it sets out to do.The scent is almost like a lemon lime soda ... I actually find the scent to be quite nice. Unfortunately, it doesn't really stick around after you wash away the lather and that's a little disappointing for me. It does seem to sink into the skin a little, so I'd recommend a boar bristle brush deep in the beard to pull the oils through the beard.One other con is the bottle is problematic. The wash is almost too thick to properly make it out of the bottle, you have to really squeeze to get it through the lid or take the lid off entirely.Pros:- Moisturizes and washes well- Good scent- Good price, good valueCons:- Scent doesn't linger- Sub-par bottle, hard to get the product out

I've used this product for over a decade now and it's still my favorite beard wash around. Its lather is very rich and you don't need a lot of product for even a beard longer than 8 inches. The scent is also one of my favorite things about it, super limey and fresh and brightens the gloomiest days with how fresh it smells.

I really love this product. I've been using it daily for about a year now and I'm just now buying my third bottle of it. It's expensive, but a little bit really does go a long way. Just a little dab on the finger and it lathers up like crazy with a little bit of massaging.As for the smell, I personally really like it. It smells like lime to me and once it's washed off, it doesn't linger. It leaves my beard soft and feeling wonderful.Don't expect this to keep your beard from being frizzy though. It makes it softer overall, but it doesn't help hold it in place. You'll need some beard saver or something for that.This truly is my favorite part of my morning routine. It's so pleasant and easy to use and it really leaves my face and beard feeling ready for the day ahead. I highly recommend this product to all my friends, family, and you as well.

I did mass amounts of research on numerous products meant specifically for the beard to no avail until I saw this product along with the 4+ star review and thought, why not? Man, this stuff is awesome! After the first use my beard is already softer and feels cleaner. Not only is this an A+ with my lady but it doesn't feel too bad either haha. I usually have a very itchy, irritated face when I let my beard grow but this has certainly curbed that feeling almost completely. I highly recommend this product and will definitely be ordering another bottle or two when this one is finished!On a side note, another poster had complained of the overwhelming smell and I admit it does have a heavy cleaner smell but it is by no means so atrocious that it makes the product unusable. It's noticeable because well, it's right beneath your nose! But it dissipates just as quickly once you rinse it out leaving you feeling fresh and clean with no residual smell.

Was constantly itching beard for comfort as skin was so dry and flaky underneath. Surprisingly this stuff got rid of that when all other products had not. Took 2 to 3 applications before I noticed the difference so don't give up after 1 shower/application. It lathers up nicely so not much is needed. I rub it into my beard with a handheld silicone scalp massager that I also purchased from Amazon.

I can't describe how amazing this beard wash is! I've grown my hair my entire life and didn't really understand how soft it could get until I began to use this product. A little goes a long way and is perfect in making your beard feel fresh, lightly scented, and gives it a nice shine. If you do end up using it, make sure to use a carrier oil or carrier oil/essential oil blend afterwards to replace the oils that you take out during a shower.

Love the after wash wet feel!

Tried other brands but came back to this. Very refreshing citrus aroma. Use very little compared to other brands.

the lime smell is not as strong as i would of thought considering the comments, would of prefered maybe more foam but its all good
