Swisspers AFM SafeChoice Shampoo and Body Wash - 16 Oz

What an elegant, simple, non-irritating shampoo this is! It has no perfume, no silly vitamins, no oils, no silicones, and none of the usual allergens (such as cocamidopropyl betaine and Vitamin E). It just cleans the hair and the skin. There is a LOT of lather, especially in soft water.For those who have short or extremely fine or delicate hair, I have found that Safe Choice can be diluted 50/50 with distilled water and it will still be a most effective and even milder shampoo that lathers nicely.It does contain sodium laureth sulfate, a surfactant which causes foaming and lifts grease so you can wash it away, but the common propaganda about the evils of either sodium laurel sulfate or sodium laureth sulfate are based on a lack of taking even one chemistry class in school. This is the only shampoo I can use, because I have many allergies. I have tried everything in the past, including other shampoos with no fragrance. This one is not cheap, but does not irritate my scalp and leaves my hair very manageable. I love it.

Fantastic shampoo and body wash, great lather, and so moisturizing I don’t need to moisturize after shower. Most importantly, so gentle I can use with no allergic reactions. Great product!

Neither my eczema-prone, sensitive-skinned child or I had a reaction to this product, so it satisfies that criteria for us.On the other hand, I tried Pharmaceutical Specialties Free and Clear Shampoo 12 oz. and Free & Clear Liquid Cleanser, 8 Ounce at the same time, and I prefer the Free & Clear Shampoo by a wide margin for its effect upon my hair. I have very fine, very straight, long hair and oily/combination skin/scalp. My hair is comb-able and smooth with the Free & Clear, but feels a bit dry and tangled with the AFM Safe Choice Shampoo & Body Wash. To be clear, if AFM Safe Choice were the only product that didn't make my skin break out in a rash, I could use it, but my purely cosmetic preference is the Free & Clear product.The AFM Safe Choice Shampoo & Body Wash makes a great "single bottle solution" to put in the kids' bathroom for their use. It does just fine on their short hair and they don't have many cosmetic preferences (yet!) :)

I have a lot of allergies and cannot use just any shampoo. I was use Magik Botanicals and it worked but I didnt feel like I could ever get a good lather. But with AFM, it lathers nicely and my hair feels clean! I go every 3-4 days without washing my hair it does such a great job of getting all the oils out!

I tried this shampoo recently and love it. I have a sensitive scalp and it was not irritated from repeated uses. Actually I thought my hair felt cleaner and stayed clean for 2-3 days instead of one. It was easy to rinse out the suds too. I will buy it in bulk the next time. I'm hooked. One more thing... I'm a former long term Mastey user...

good for people allergic to alot of the stuff in shampoos. Mine is propylene glycol and similar glycols. This one doesn't have it plus it actually lathers well and my hair doesn't feel crispy afterwards either.

This is the only shampoo I've found that I can use. I do wish that through Amazon there was an option of buying 1 gallon rather than 4 gallons. The 16 ounce is much more expensive per ounce but there is no way I can afford $200 for shampoo or soap.
