CINEPEER Phone Gimbal, 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer for iPhone 12/11/X/XS, Samsung Android Phone, ZY Play App Support, Smooth Video Gimbal - CINEPEER C11

The media could not be loaded.  My review title pretty much sums this up. This is a relatively cheap gimbal, as most similar gimbals can easily be over $200. I bought this to use on multiple trips to Big Sur, Yosemite, and Lake Tahoe. Coupled with the brilliant camera on the iPhone X, this thing is GREAT for the purpose. Standing alone as a product (in other words, excluding the app, I will address that later), this is great for phones and will get you beautiful smooth footage almost every time. As long as you dont accidentally turn it on without the phone installed (which I did a couple times.....oops), the motors are silent and work very well. The joystick is extremely helpful, and its awesome the thing can be used as an external battery pack. I would attach this thing to a mini flexible tripod I had and could get great group photos on a timer, perfectly stabilized left-right pans, and good standing footage anywhere. If you buy this, I highly recommend having a mini tripod too. Overall, this is a great gimbal stabilizer for beginners! It fits my iPhone X perfectly, even with the case.So a couple other things to address about this. The charging cable is flat which is a nice plus!! The fact its included is something I love. Battery life is great as well. I've gone a whole week, using this thing throughout every day, without charging it.There’s a Apple App you download & fill out some information & then it syncs to the Gimbal very easily. It sets up everything automatically for leveling etc. In the App there’s also a very user friendly simple editing for videos. The app could use some improvements, but you can use the gimbal even without the app. The build feels solid As well, nothing flimsy! There are plenty of features I like: The ease of switching the orientation of the smartphone; and the balance set up; The huge hour battery life; The handle controls work well, to name a few.

This product was amazing the only flaws I noticed is it might struggle with the iPhone 8 Plus it’s slightly heavier than the capacity it can hold no worries tho still works great, object tracking on the app could be better tends to lose the object it’s tracking and ends up spinning around like crazy I’m staying away from that feature however great gimbal for beginners and learning basic gimbal movements

I have been looking for a smartphone gimbal for years. Finally, bought this one following youtube review for “best gimbal under $100”.Best part: works great! Pan follow works great. Battery last forever. Made with quality metal. All buttons work with custom app. You need to download it from the App Store.Not so great part: I use iPhone 8 plus and this gimbal struggles with weight of the phone. It cannot do 360 roll with iPhone plus model. Smaller phone recommended. Portrait mode not recommended with iPhone plus model, but it is possible. Control on the gimbal is not documented anywhere.Things you must need to know: when using custom app, power button works as a shutter button for both camera and video mode. Zoom is step zoom. Click up once for zoom in and click down once for zoom out. Hold zoom button up for 3 second and it toggles between camera and video mode. Hold zoom button down 3 second to toggle between front and rear facing camera.After review(12/20/2020):Pro: Gimbal still works. Battery life is still great.Con: for unknown reason it jerks. I recheck the balance of weight. But that is not the cause of the issue.Also, when it is on pan lock mode, it drifts to left or right, depending on how it is positioned. It will stop moving after it thinks there’s no twist movement. It does this even when it is on a stand.

didnt work for iphone 14 , phone was too heavy for the gimbal.returned it and got the real thing DJI Osmo 6

I just wanted a simple, easy to use, inexpensive gimbal that I could just hand to someone, and say "go take some video for me". This definitely fits the bill for that.I have no intention of ever installing the app for this gimbal. I don't need it, or want it. I've seen some gimbals require that you install their app, or the gimbal won't function. And usually those are the ones that require account registration. No thank you.Most functions of the gimbal work fine without using (or even installing) their app, which makes me happy. The only thing I don't get is I can't zoom in/out using the button on the gimbal. I can live without that.I use 3rd party camera apps that can send an NDI or SRT stream back to my live streaming computer, to add to my live streaming production. This works perfectly for that.

It's good quality, but not easy to use

I’ve only used this device about 2-3 times since the day I received it. The first time I used it, it was pretty tricky getting the phone to get stabilized I practiced for the hang of it. The second time I went to LAS and I couldn’t get the device to stabilize. Third time I went to Tampa, and the same thing happened glitching. I then realized you have to take the phone case off in order for it to work properly. If the phone is a bit heavy the device will kind of glitch and just “faint” on you when you click the button to stabilize it or change the mode. Regardless if you have a phone case on the device will continue to “faint” and glitch. Built in portable charger, works perfectly.

I absolutely love this gimbal. It's definitely an entry level gimbal but has some great features. The handle is a little short so you may want to get an extension for it later on. Very easy to use once you set it up and learn the basics of how it operates. I've used it a couple of times so far and I always keep it with me just incase there is something I'd like to take video of. The motors are super quiet and you can't beat the price. I definitely recommend this product.

Très bon produit le seul bémol est que la notice est en anglais et chinois. Il faut le manipuler un moment pour comprendre les modes proposés.Je l’utilise régulièrement pour la formation photo/vidéos et je n’ai rien à dire pour le moment

I bought the (Zhiyun) Cinepeer C11 Gimbal for shooting video's without shaking images. It is indeed very good at doing that and delivers good value for it's price. No complaints there. Also the relatively long operation duration of the battery is a big pro. I find the Cinepeer C11 not too heavy, which is important for extended use. The ZY Play app is being regularly updated, which I find important as a service.Not so great is the Zhiyun Gimbal Tools software for the PC. It has two important functions: 1) to update the firmware and 2) to calibrate the gimbal. Although I followed the instructions to the letter, the software does not recognise my Cinepeer C11 when connected to the PC. Although I send the Zhiyun company an e-mail about this on 14 February 2021, I never received any response.I guess the Cinepeer C11 can be used just fine without updates or calibration, but it makes me miss out on improvements and new features that where released since I the time that I bought the product. And when you buy a product, you are also buying for the service. It is common knowledge that firmware for products is never fully perfected before the release of the product on the market.

This gimbal is fantastic. Out of the box it felt great. Excellent build quality and weight which gives it a premium feel.The gimbal was fairly easy to set up once I managed to figure out the app and it balanced the mobile phone very well.It worked great for all the usual gimbal shots, pans, tilts, dolly's and walking shots.Overall I found this gimbal to be excellent and will be using it for my work such as, weddings, interviews, promos and vlogs.Very pleased and would highly recommend.

Quería un gimbal "de batalla" que tuviera todo lo que se necesita en situaciones del día a día y después de ver las características e informarme me decidí por este modelo.Conozco bien el funcionamiento de estos aparatos, sabía qué es lo que había que buscar y este era el mejor sobre el papel para lo que lo iba a usar. Ahora voy a intentar contarte si es o no real todo lo que dicen.Tiene una buena presentación, viene bien protegido en un estuche de corcho que se puede usar para guardarlo y transportarlo de la forma más segura y cómoda.Su tamaño es medio, para mi eso es bueno porque así será más cómodo el agarre y se adapta a manos más y menos grandes. El peso es reducido, tan solo 440g.Tiene una rosca universal en la base que nos será de una gran ayuda en multitud de situaciones.Incluye un cable de carga que solo tendrás que enchufar a cualquier cargador de teléfono o similar para cargar la batería del gimbal, que a su vez podrás usar a modo de powerbank para cargar el teléfono que estés usando en la grabación. La batería es suficiente para una jornada completa de uso intensivo.El funcionamiento es muy sencillo, lo primero será colocar el teléfono en el soporte y luego nivelarlo de forma manual, para ello se afloja y ajusta la ruleta de regulación. Después de esto ya estará listo para usarse.Para sacarle todo el partido al gimbal recomiendo descargar la app oficial del fabricante, ZY Play, disponible para Android e iOS. Aunque también se puese usar sin problemas sin necesidad de dicha app.Incluye multitud de modos tanto para foto como para vídeo, crear time lapse de forma muy cómoda y con resultados bastante profesionales en cada uno de ellos.Creo que cualquier usuario doméstico con un mínimo de interés por el vídeo y la fotografía debería tener un gimbal, y este modelo es uno de los más indicados para adentrarse en este bonito mundo.Espero haber ayudado con mi opinión.
