Decent fire bricks, already cracked after 1 use
These bricks are super light in weight. I built a small table-top furnace and bought these bricks as an upgrade to the dense bricks from a big box store. The packaging of the bricks was minimal, just some soft cardboard outer boxing. Upon opening the box, there was a bunch of powder, most likely from rubbing inside of the box and from manufacturing.Next, the bricks were luckily all in tact and fit my furnace perfectly.I began a general burn in for the bricks, and after about 30 minutes of 900 degree heat, turned it off and let it sit for a couple hours.I came back and found that one of the bricks had cracked right down the middle. I checked the fitment of the bricks again, which I kept firm, but not overly smashed, and found that they were tight. Not sure if the expansion and contraction caused the crack, or the quality did, but, one brick is cracked. The rest are discolored, but fine.I will try again soon, as I am getting into blacksmithing and bladesmithing, and will be using my DIY furnace fairly frequently. Hopefully they do not all do the same thing.

Decent. Poorly packaged for shipping.
I placed 2 orders for a total of 12 bricks. 3 of the 12 were damaged upon delivery. Items are poorly packed considering their brittle nature. The bricks work fairly well. As you’d expect. However, the quality is lower than that of other bricks I’ve purchased. I’m certainly not overly impressed, but they were shipped out soon after my order and arrived quickly. Cheaper than other bricks but for a good reason. Still wouldn’t call them cheap at $10/each though. 3 out of 5 stars is fair. Improve your packaging and price the bricks more seasonably and I’d give 5 out of 5. The bricks are of a lower quality than some competitors and 25% of them were damaged upon arrival. 3 stars is more than you’d get from other people.

Box of broken bricks. 😡
Big broken mess. No way these were going to arrive the way they were packaged. No padding whatsoever. Not one was totally intact. Very disappointed

poor packaging
as many mentioned in other reviews i read, there is minimal packaging, and 3 of 6 bricks were damaged. not broke in half but the corners were knocked off. luckily i also purchased "MEECO'S RED DEVIL 1354 Furnace Cement and Fireplace Mortar" so it was quick and easy to repair the bricks. the pricing is the saving grace for this product, so value for money is still OK.

It's Firebrick
I'd recommend this. Ships in alot of bubble wrap. Could add corrugate material on the sides as well to reduce damage during shipping. Definitely helps! Recommended.
