I ended up ordering 2 and 10 rounds because they were the same price.Water capacity is less than kolinsky, but the snap and "point"-ability is nearly the same. I just wish they didn't change the ink they use for printing the label on the brush handle. Mine is already rubbing off, while the older brushes with the gold writing is still pristine. But function over form so for my purposes, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Pics and video of my tiny art made exclusively with the round 2 travel Caseneo. (Ig: honeybeejournals)

One of the best synthetics. My new favorite brush.
Love this brush and use it all the time for sketchbooking and on the go. I don't know how they did it but It behaves just like the expensive sable brushes I once upon a time used, but, for ethical reasons, I stopped using animal hair brushes. I've been looking for a suitable substitute ever since. I finally found it with this brush. It's a bit expensive, but sable brushes can go for much more and are still cruel to animals.I'm not sure if these are also available in a non-travel brush. if they are, I'd surely buy more of them. I can highly recommend this one for sure.

Great Travel Brush
Very happy with this travel brush. I had purchased a few other travel sable brushes from another company and was less than impressed. I was beginning to wonder what the fuss was about for Sable hair. These have made me change my mind entirely. The bristles come to a point easily. It has the perfect amount of spring (not floppy, not stiff). The water capacity is great, even for a smaller brush (size 6). It also holds a fair amount of pigment. The casing for this travel brush is a sturdy plastic which feels quality without being heavy. I also like the size-about width of a toddler pencil and 3.5 inches long. It fits easily in a small watercolor tin or even an Altoids tin.

Quality synthetic travel brush
This is a well designed, well manufactured travel brush, that I would recommend for portable watercolor kits.It is the sturdiest travel brush that I've used (I prefer that the pieces thread together, as opposed to the more common socket type connections often used in travel brushes), and it's nicer than other synthetics which I've tried. I plan on buying at least one other in a smaller size for finer detail, and maybe a larger one for washes. This brush holds a point nicely, wets easily and holds water very well, the pieces of the handle thread together firmly, and everything feels solid, like it will last for years. It fits perfectly in a travel watercolor set. There is even a small hole at the end of the cap that allows the brush to dry even when capped.

The Search Continues
I find this brush to be a bit heavy and awkward. It is nice that the handle screws on but it adds weight and bulk which I feel, interferes with the joy of the painting process. Also, this brush in no way “performs like natural hair”. It performs more like a really good Taklon brush. It does seem to do a better job at even pigment release than some other synthetic brushes but does still tend to pigment dump at the beginning of a stroke like most synthetic brushes do. If you are looking for a good quality synthetic travel brush, this may fit your needs just don’t expect it to perform like a natural hair brush. I have included a picture of the brush next to my Escoda Reserva so show the bulk and bristle differences. The third picture is a paint out showing the pigment release (Natural hair on top, this brush on bottom).

The best brushes I've ever used.
I purchased the 2, 4, 6, and 8 of this wonderful brush and they have changed my paintings. I can't believe how much a good brush changes everything. I use them with the Masterson Rinse Well water keeper and I'll never go back to any other brush. I especially love that after the brushes dry (in less than half an hour) I can store the delicate brushes in the handle to keep the perfect point. The really do have a wonderful point when wet and they hold incredible amounts of paint. I used to have so much trouble with doing a good wash but now, with these wonderful brushes I don't get unevenness at all.Since it's getting difficult to find Sable brushes, I think these are so worth the price. The price is comparable to art store prices but most art stores are sorely low on stock. I'm looking forward to adding the 3, 5, and 10 soon before they disappear because of the ban in importing sable hair as it's now an endangered species.

Love this brush
I personally prefer a non-sable brush for my watercolor sketchbooks. Not as much liquid to have to manage. Love this brush. Love that the bristles stay together too, for ease of replacing cap...have the sable version and it is a pain to close after it dries...they say not to close it wet, but you need to wet it to get it back to point. I'll stick to synthetic for travel purposes. I just take a small sketchbook with me on the road and this does the job perfectly.

Better than expected
Works like it should as a travel brush, was surprised that the bristles were as long as they are, pictured by a half pan for comparison, expected it to be shorter. The bristles hold together wonderfully though so it hasn't been as much of an issue as I'd initially expected, as I'm used to cheaper synthetic brushes that would be ruined within a couple months of normal use.

A real disappointment for watercolour -- bristles too stiff and release watercolour all at once
I was looking forward to this brush, as it has received some favorable reviews. However, I find it of little use for watercolour sketching. Specifically: (1) the bristles hold a reasonable amount of watercolour, but they release most of the water at first touch to the paper, and (2) the bristles are very stiff. These two characteristics mean it is miserable at laying an even watercolour wash, even over just a small area. The brush is suitable for two uses. If you only with to use the brush to draw with, then it ought to work well (although you might find a size 8 to be too large for this purpose). And the stiffness of the brush makes it good at painting opaquely with gouache. Most watercolour brushes are too limp for this use.
