Great value, functional, and a much better way to work!
I did a lot of research looking into a standing desk before purchasing this one. Working from home more than ever now, I never really had a home office set up. I was using a living room table and one of our dining room chairs. For a short time this was okay, for the long term my body was not having it. I went back and fourth as to whether or not I wanted an electric or a crank standing desk. To be honest I couldn't find many good crank standing desks. Most of them are roughly the same price as the electric ones. This was the one where it still looked good and was enough of a price difference to consider it. While I have nothing against electric ones, I figured I would be using the desk mostly in standing so I didn't really need the electric features and I wouldn't have to worry as much about something breaking. So far I have been correct on my usage as I have used it almost exclusively standing. Below are some initial observations. * Installation was pretty easy- I was a little nervous not being a handy man, but also because the repeated reviews and warnings in the manual to not fully the tighten the screws. It took me a little over an hour, but everything made sense and it was a pretty normal assembly. Everything arrived in good shape too. * Height is great- I am 5'9 and I have the desk all the way up. I look down a little bit, but I personally love the height. * Sturdy and Good Width- This desk is very sturdy and holds me resting my arms on it with no problem. It is the perfect size for me to have my personal computer, iPad, and work computer all on it. I could see some maybe wanting a little bigger size, but for me and the space we are currently in, it works very well.I have only had this standing desk for a little over a week, but I knew it was what I wanted and so far has lived up to my expectations. I don't even want to sit because my back feels so much better standing! This desk at $200 was a great price and meets all of what I expected in a crank standing desk. It is basic, but more than functional and I would highly recommend it!

Good Desk
Easy to assemble, stable, and I like the manual crank. I chose this because I didn’t want an electric one with a motor that might crap out. Very nice desk.

While certainly not the best standing desk out there, I would buy this again.
I needed a standing desk for work and as much as I wanted an electric one, I was scared by reviews, as it seemed unless you went with a very high end model (>$800) there was a decent chance that the desk would eventually brick, and you'd be screwed. Fearful of purchasing an expensive desk that might not work after a couple of years, I discovered this desk which was manually operated, and I can say that this is a very good desk and I am very happy with my purchase! There are some things to take into consideration.Pros:- Desk looks great!- Raising and Lowering is very easy and straightforward.- You can use the handle on either side of the desk for personal preference- Quality of the raising/lowering mechanism feels very sturdy- Spacious: I have way more room on the desk than neededCons:- The handle comes out easily and is nothing to rave about, but I suspect this is so that you can easily switch sides if you wish- My desk came with a really bad scratch (about 8-inches). Customer Service was great to work with on this, however, and I was able to get a partial refund, so I really appreciated that- There is a significant wobble to the desk when you have the desk in standing mode. While it's not to the point where the desk doesn't feel sturdy, it's very noticeable when typing. This is especially true when using the desk for the first time. I was very unhappy with the wobble at first, but I will say two things on this: 1) When I started adding things onto the desk, such a monitor, the weight helped reduce the wobble. 2) You also get accustomed to the wobble after a week or two. While it's still noticeable to an extent, it's more like small background noise that I can live with.Other:- I've been seeing negative reviews over how it takes time to crank the desk to the desired height. Honestly, I don't think this is that big a deal. It takes me about 20-30 seconds to get the desk where I want it. In the grand scheme of things, that's not a big deal to me at all and not something I would take away from the rating, especially since I chose a hand-operated standing desk.- Setup is not super easy, and some of the pieces are labeled wrong. I could see others giving a lower rating because of this, but I don't expect any standing desk to have super easy setup, unless you pay a premium price.Final Recap: Overall, this desk is great bang for your buck. I'm happy with my purchase and have no regrets despite some of the cons.
