Okay so I have to tell my story. I was really nervous about ordering this because I read when a product gets five stars they're usually paid reviews. But I took a chance anyway and decided to purchase this as I already used a great shea butter by Raw Apothecary and I always like to have a couple favorites.I purchased another shea butter last month and had to throw all 2 lbs in the trash I was so terribly disappointed. It also got good reviews. This particular shea butter smelled like lemon Pledge and had the consistency of Vaseline--- no nutty aroma whatsoever so I knew I was duped immediately. I anxiously awaited this shea butter and received it today. I tore into the package with excitement and oh boy when I opened it and the nutty aroma hit my nose, I was in heaven. I then put some between my fingers and rubbed some on my arm --- talk about smooth and creamy! So now I can officially say thank you so much Fishy Bird Love for having an excellent product! I will be a repeat customer!

AWESOME!! Mix this with sundown vitamin E oil (75,000 IU), and BIO oil, it is the best combination ever. I had lots of scars, stretch marks (fat/skinny/fat/skinny), scars from carrying a rucksack on my back (22 years military service), and pimple scars. Use a good body scrub in the shower then put this all over your body.....you will love it.

LOVE this Shea Butter!!! It is the real deal. Melts right into the skin and smells as it’s supposed to(smokey woodys smell). Not everyone cares for it but I enjoy it. I’m using it as a moisturizer on my face and sometimes on my legs and hands to help dry skin and just for extra moisturizing. I use it as chapstick at times too so applying it to my lips feels really nice. You can use Shea Butter for so many things. It’s color(off white)is exactly as described. Some people have said it appears dirty but that’s the way it supposed to look. I gave some to my mom to help her psoriasis and after about a week she said and showed me that it’s helping! It’s not scaling and it’s much smoother. She ordered some for herself and I ordered another as well. A little goes a long way but wanted to grab more before this sells out. All 3 purchases were exactly 1lb. Research Shea Butter and see all the different ways it can help the skin. Definitely recommend everyone to have Shea Butter in their home :)

Every single shea butter on here has a bad review, so I just happened to take a chance on this one. This did not disappoint in any way. The 3 lbs that I bought, came vacuumed sealed, and was ivory/beige in color (always a good sign). The smell once opened was heavenly, :) nutty in aroma, which is what a quality shea butter should smell like. Once melted, the clarity was perfect, no threads, swimmers, or bugs, (which I don't normally mind, since it is derived from West Africa, I would just strain it if necessary). The product itself was perfect for homemade whipped shea butter. Very pleased, and I will be purchasing again :)

this shea butter was great. Genuine grade A, exactly like the shea butter straight from Africa and the price is fair. It has the nutty smell, the soft texture (non-grainy) , and the color right. (those are the signs to look for when getting grade A shea butter). I ordered another immediately after seeing the quality.

Arrived nicely packaged. That is the only positive thing I can say about this product. I opened the sealed package of shea butter that was inside of the ziplock sealed packaged it arrived in and, much to my chagrin, was greeted with an overwhelming fungus smell. It was like opening a bag full of white mushrooms that had been sealed up for a week in the fridge and sticking my face in it. I thought if I left it to air out, the smell might dissipate. Well, it sat open for a month and guess what, it still smells like the day I opened it. I threw it in the trash 10 minutes ago. I am afraid that smell would permeate a batch of CP soap if I chose to use it. I’m irritated that I have to give this product a star in order to write this review. There should be a “no star” option for cases like this. Do not waste your money on this product! Find another seller

Love this! I mix with olive and black castor oil and blend to make a hair butter that can also be used on the body. The place I had been ordering from for years had too many shipping issues and I grew tired. Glad I’ve found my new replacement company

Really nice stuff, mixed it with coconut oil and lavender essential oil for my psoriasis.
