Works amazing for soft refrigerant piping
I have used this many times over and I can tell you first hand it saves you on couplings all day. It's extremely easy to use and has numerous different sizes. Also keep in mind it's a few hundred dollars cheaper than yellow jacket brand

Works as it should perfect every time.
This swaging tool works very well and is a great value for the money . I have maybe 25 swages so far and all are perfect. Others have mentioned tubing splits I have not seen any of that with my tool. You must use soft copper or anneal the copper first and you must deburr the copper after cutting inside rough edge needs to be removed that may be the cause of some cracking issues for some users. Also add grease to the pin and inside collet before use. NOTE: One thing to mention is the collet sometimes does not want to release the pipe after expanding as it creates smaller flutes or tool marks in between the segments of the collet die. By releasing and rotating the pipe a few times during expansion you will make smaller flutes or tooling marks that can prevent the collet from releasing the pipe after a swage is completed. Great tool so far I really like this tool.

Works well, but can slightly over-expand
This tool is compact, affordable, easy to use, and has worked reliability for making 200 joints between 3/8" and 7/8".It is possible to over-expand the tubing before the cone stops, so some technique has to be developed for the tight fitment that results in the strongest joints.

Must have for HVAC
Been using this for about a year now doing hvac installs and it been great. Sometimes the smaller lines will split if you try and go fast with it, towards the end you have to just squeeze it in smaller amounts and slower and it’s fine. Saved me tons of money on fittings. No leaks or issues at all.
