Great fan with excellent looks
I've had a range of fans in the tower, including box fans, tower fans, and air circulators. I'm using this for our bedroom, and it has worked well for the two months or so that we have had it so far. I don't really use too many of the settings, mainly the oscillating part, which the 360 degrees is quite nice, even though the highest we turn it up to regularly is 120 degrees.I keep it pointed towards the bed at nighttime and it does a good job of keeping me cool throughout the night. My favorite thing about the fan is the sleek look, the interface, and that it tells me the temperature in the room, or at least where the fan is located.

Works great - when it works.
This fan worked fine for the first 8 months we had it. It's not the most expensive fan but for the price it worked better than expected. After 8 months the screen went dim and the fan would not follow any of the settings I had set. I would click for it to oscillate 90 degrees and it would go in a complete 360 non-stop. It was also weaker and often times wouldn't even turn on. When I called the company to see their warranty details they asked me to return the fan and they would send me a new one. That sounds great until you realize that because of the size of the fan it's almost impossible to ship for under $50. It doesn't weigh much but any boxes over a certain length get very expensive. I asked them if they provided a pre-paid label and here's their response: "We are currently closed for vacation and will contact you when we reopen on July 26." They never contacted me or responded to my follow-up email to see if anything can be done. Needless to say I will not be returning it and unfortunately replacing it with a better fan. I would not recommend this fan or company if you want something that will last.

Only worth it for the 360 oscillating
I have an older Lasko 42" tower fan with ionizer and the Ozeri Ultra 42" fan and now this Swissler....I specifically bought this fan for the 360 degree oscillation because of the open floor plan of my main floor and that option is about the only reason I will keep it. The air flow isn't as powerful as the Lasko or Ozeri but for me that's alright because I really just want the fan to move the air around as opposed to blow enough to cool me down if that makes sense. It's not as quiet as the other fans but it's not terrible and with the tv on it's not noticeable at all. If I didn't have other tower fans to compare it to I suppose I might like it more because it's not awful BUT it is flimsy as other reviewers have said (it does lean as one reviewer mentioned - think Leaning Tower of Pisa) and the air flow is much weaker though adequate. In my opinion, if you aren't going to use it for the 360 oscillation I would highly recommend Lasko or Honeywell fans available at a similar price point. If you are going to make the purchase be aware that the power cord is about 5 feet long (shorter than the other fans I have) so if you're planning to use it in an open space (which is the point to the 360 turn in my opinion) you might need an extension cord in order to reach an outlet. Also my remote did not come with a battery and it requires a CR 2032, if you're like me you don't keep those lying around so be aware you may need to pick some up. Also as other reviewers noted, there is no way to dim or turn off all the LED lights and they are quite bright if you plan to use this in a bedroom. All in all it's not a bad fan but I won't be buying this brand again.

Quiet and even distribution of air
The fan is quiet on the lowest setting and does great job evenly distributing air. It has a timer setting which I love to use and when it's not in use the digital numbers show the dry bulb temperature. The beep sound goes off when pushing the on button and it's a bit loud. And the pedestal is wobbly so when pressing the buttons directly in there fan itself, I have to make an effort to touch the buttons lightly to minimize from it wobbling.Overall I like the fan and it does a great job functionally. A good buy for the price and aesthetically looks good. I'll be updating to inform you how long this unit works.

Great until it isn't....
This fan was fantastic — up until the oscillator stopped working right. Instead of going the 60°, it goes the full way around and the light on the front has dimmed also.

Pretty good fan, worth the price.
Not sure I understand these 1 star reviews, the air output from this thing is amazing, and it's quiet at the same time. Can't ask for more than that. It's plenty sturdy in my opinion. What are people doing with these things where they want a fan made of cast iron? I'm using this to circulate air from my balcony into my house during the cooler months and it's doing that flawlessly. The main upside to this fan to me is the noise to airflow ratio. Most good airflow fans are way too loud to run while trying to listen to a TV(or radio).

Excellent Value and Works Great!
I bought this for my daughter because the apartment she is in doesn't have a ceiling fan and she absolutely loves it. She said there are all sorts of settings that can be used, and it gives a good amount of air flow and is quiet while she is trying to sleep. This product was an excellent value for the money.

I am so let down. I read some amazing reviews about this product and it barley has any air coming out of it, even on the highest speed. I cannot believe I spent $70 on this. It should be worth no more than $40 in my opinion. Im the kind of person who loves to be ICE COLD at night time. Granted I read all the reviews and people seemed to like it but I'm not sure why or how. I closed my bedroom door to see if it would cool down after an hour and on the screen it shows the temperate in the room. So once I left it was 78 degrees in my room. I come back an hour later and its hotter than before. It was 81 degrees and it didn't even feel like a fan was going what so ever. I am very disappointed and need something for powerful for sure. It is very quite and hardly any air comes out. I will be returning this and I just wasted $70.
