Great "clean" shampoo for fine hair.
This Volumize Shampoo is my first experience with the Lazartigue brand. For reference, I have a lot of fine and super straight shoulder length hair that is virgin/un-dyed. My main hair concern is keeping grease at bay and achieving volume. It's important to me when choosing products to prioritize "clean" ingredients and avoid those that may be potentially harmful. Lazartigue's manifesto aligns with these values and their products are sulfate and silicone free.I also appreciate that Lazartigue manufactures in France. I go out of my way to support companies who choose to manufacture domestically or in Europe - a region with one of the most stringent product, worker, and environmental safety regulations. So, how does this shampoo perform? I'm really impressed with it! It has a wonderful natural scent that I would describe as herbal. It lathers well and is great at cleansing oils from my scalp, as well as any build-up from styling products. This shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean and neither weighed down and stringy nor fly-away. This shampoo provides a great foundation for creating volume in my hair.I'm really happy with this Volumize Shampoo from Lazartigue and recommend it for others with my hair type.

Lightweight, Rinses Clean Without Weight or Residue; Super Strong Scent
I had the opportunity to try several "types" of Lazartigue shampoos and conditioners. They all come suitably packaged in either product-branded dark plastic bottles (shampoos) ~8oz or poly plastic tubes (conditioners) ~5oz and are priced around $33, as of this review. Made in France. The series of haircare is intended for those with thin fine hair, which I have. I'm a natural redhead with naturally flat, lifeless locks. I don't color treat and prefer to airdry vs. using heat tools. No scalp conditions I'm aware of (no dandruff, excessive dryness, psoriasis), and I run "normal" to oily after a couple of days between washes. I do use dry shampoo.Anyway, overall, I like the quality and use of these with a few minor drawbacks. Everything is lightweight without leaving residue or weight and seems very nourishing and hydrating.First, the shampoos all have a lightweight, pale-ale-colored gel. I get a good foam with little effort but none of them have been very "clarifying." I either have to double-cleanse, using one of my facial cleansing oils on my scalp to help break down product, sebum and dead skin first, then shampoo or I have to shampoo 2x and move along to my conditioner in order to breakdown and remove scalp build-up/residue. The conditioners are all white and creamy, hydrating without being heavy or greasy, and none of them have weighed me down. Rinses cleanse. My only real issue is the smell. I dislike the heavy-handed use of added fragrance in all of the products, the shampoos especially as this perfumy scent lingers long after use. Each version has a slightly different scent, but they are all strong, floral, and unpleasant. Hours after, I will catch a whiff of myself and it smells like flowery scented drier sheets (which we do not use and most of my other skin and haircare is fragrance-free). If these had been fragrance-free, I would have given them higher marks.

Be careful if you travel with this - leaks.
I took a trip with a new bottle of this. Plastic seal still in place on the top. It leaked into my luggage. Other products don’t leak especially new sealed bottles, so something is wrong with the packaging.

Yes, please!
I have fine, naturally wavy hair. It's definitely gotten thinner with age, so whereas I never needed help in the volume department when I was younger, I definitely do now. This shampoo worked SO well for me! I'm really impressed, actually.I tried this in a couple different combinations. I first tried it with another brand's thickening/volumizing conditioner. That was too much. Both products include rice protein, and it did noticeably weird things to my hair texture to use two of those products together. Next, I tried it with Lazartique's repair mask. Results as pictured. VERY impressed with this result. The mask is great by itself, as well, but I was incredibly pleased with my results using this shampoo with the mask, especially. I have since used this same combo again and had similarly great results. So, yes. I'm a big fan. My hair looks and feels fantastic. Unlike some thickening products I've tried, this one doesn't add "volume" by just making my hair prone to frizz. My waves are nicely clumped and just look juicier, somehow. I dig it. Recommended!

Makes your hair more healthy and fuller
I have really become a fan of Lazartigue shampoos, after getting the chance to try out some of their products. Sometimes my hair can get a bit frizzy and thin if I’m using the wrong kind of shampoo. This stuff makes my hair fuller, thicker and generally speaking, the way that I wish it was all the time without having to do anything. The bottle is on the smaller side but it only takes about the size of a nickel (5 cent coin) in the palm of your hand for each time. The scent is pleasant and leaves you smelling nice, but not in an overpowering way. All around, a great shampoo for people who want to add a little volume to their hair.

Great Body for Fine Hair
This high-end natural, vegan haircare line, begun by Jean-François Lazartigue with the motto of providing "effective hair care products, formulated with ingredients of natural origin." The line pledges "at least 89% naturally derived ingredients," which is a somewhat meaningless percentage that leaves a lot of room for, you know, non-natural ingredients. But they do pledge to be certified vegan, sulfate and silicone-free, and don't test on animals. All the Lazartigue products, except the hair color, are made in France.I have fine hair and my regular shampoo of late has been R+Co, another premium brand, so the prices in this line didn't really phase me, though they're definitely not cheap. This uses rice proteins to add volume to fine hair, and it really works surprisingly well. As someone with very fine hair, but a lot of it, it's one of the most noticable diferences I've seen with shampoo. Hair definitely looked fuller, yet still soft and shiny, after use, helping to justify its high price point

overall good result but pricey
I have very fine hair. I have been using this brand for decades. They have changed the composition which in the beginning did not give the same result. The result is good overall now. However, it is a bit pricey. I would recommend the product as it is hard to find a volumizing shampoo that actually works and does not fall flat.
