GregoryMountain Products Zulu 40 Liter Men's Hiking Backpack

I'm a big guy - 6'4", 280 pounds and classic dad bod with more around the middle than I wish I had. This fits well for my broad shoulders, is comfortable and adjustable. I like it. My only real wishes for it were that it had more individual pockets/compartments (because I like to have stuff organized instead of stuffed) and that it had a more accommodating waistband for my size, which is hard to find.

A lightweight pack with good suspension. My third Gregory pack as I’ve always liked the comfort and adjustments. I’m not completely happy with the adjustable frame as it uses a velcro pad to move the shoulder straps up or down based on torso length. When picking It up by the straps to put it back on the velcro pad comes and has to be readjusted. Another issue is the sternum strap pulls free from the shoulders straps when adjusting. Easy to put back on because it comes off so easily. Sadly the strap made it back from two trips but is somewhere on the Art Loeb trail now. The water bottle pockets are also too far back and pack has to be removed to access these.

Amazing backpack. Packaging great, product was handled well. Backpack works really well for my long torso and extremely comfortable. Not suitable for an overnight, get the larger version.

Took this pack on a two night trio in the Tetons. Really liked it! I have the ZULU 30 as well, and like that one just as much. I believe the suspension is every bit as good as osprey and the hip belt hugs you very nice and has great storage. I tried on a bunch of packs at local outfitters and wasn't really impressed that much by anything. Then I saw that I could get the ZULU in larger sizes and jumped on it. Don't regret it at all.

I contacted seller and nobody responded. Zulu is running on smaller size and don't recommend somebody with wide shoulder. Price was right and I was hoping I will receive what I order.

Great backpack. Has the look and feel of a larger backpacking pack without the size. It fits a lot and feels good when packed. I would highly recommend. Perfect for a long day trip or possibly a quick over night (if you pack light)

１７０㎝、７５キロ、男性です。グレゴリー以外のザックをあまり使用した事がないので他社との比較は出来ないのですが、収納力、調節のしやすさ、歩行時の安定性、背中のベンチレーションなど素晴らしいと思います。ただ、ファスナーは登山用とは思えないほどの使いづらさです。特にヒップベルトについているサイドポーチは開閉時にかなり引っかかります。グローブしていると特に使いづらい。よく使うものを入れる場所だと思うのですが、よく使うものは入れたくないですね。グレゴリー伝統のデカファスナーの方が良かったのでは、、、。サブバッグとしてウエストバッグを前に装着しています。よく使う物はそこに。まあザックとしてのメインの性能はしっかりしているので大きな問題ではないですけどね。海外メーカーらしいなあと思ってしまいました。そんなことは気にならない方は是非どうぞ。３シーズン山小屋一泊登山等にはバッチリです。

届いた２日後に10km程、里山を歩いてきましたが背負い心地はフレームがしっかりし、ヒップベルト、肩ベルトもしっかり調整でき非常に歩き易く満足出来ました。一つ残念なのは40Lの次が55Lと大きくなりすぎて中間のサイズがあるといいかなと思います。フレームの関係か実際は35Lくらいかなと思われます。

小屋泊用購入。猿倉〜白馬山荘〜栂池で使用。ウエストベルトがしっかりしていて、背中もネットで密着せず快適でした。肩の疲労や疲れが全くなかったです。

歩き遍路で使おうと思って購入したがコロナのせいで実現できず。早く行きたい。

次の日に届いてとても嬉しかったです。山登りを始めたばかりです。背中に汗をかきやすいのですが通気性がよいのでとても気に入ってます。これからもずっと使用できると思います。
