Beautifully combines live action and animation capturing the spirit of the epic masterpiece.
Wonderfully made combining live action with animation with the most beautiful soundtrack and legendary performances. Far better than the Peter Jackson films and far closer to the spirit of the epic literary masterpiece.

Excellent remaster/Exclusive bonus feature
The Making Of documentary cannot (to my knowledge) be found elsewhere and the HD remaster is fantastic,the picture fills the screen (no black bars) If you've got an old DVD copy this is worth the upgrade

The original animated classic... they took film and painted over it. The effect is very 70's trippy.

Great film, although a bit compromised from the books
Great film, although a bit compromised from the books. But it's a adaption of something grander and it does it's thing well.I would have liked som more extras. All in all - a great purchase.
