Easy to use, the upper part easily slides out of place

This gadget is not strong enough to cope with compression socks, the diameter of the tube that you put the sock onto reduces under the pressure of a compression sock, requiring you to force your foot through the restricted opening. This resulted in the device breaking apart after a few days. The sock removal tool buckled after only the second attempt to use it and is now not rigid enough to use again.I would suggest that the manufacturer should review it's claim to be suitable for compression socks.

A little bit clumsy to use, keeps falling over and handle pulls apart easily when I try to pull the sock on.

Because I am disabled & find it difficult to put on & take off my socks I looked for an aid to help me.I chose this over other types of aids because it looked a solid sturdy piece of equipment that looked easier to use without having to bend right over.Although other types of aids looked efficient to do the job, they were for only pulling on socks but not capable of taking them off.That is why I chose this aid & it didn't let me down.It does the job very easily in both pulling on & taking off my socks & I wouldn't be witjhout it.

Purchased this for my elderly grandparents and the sock aid works as described although the whole package lacks any real sturdiness. The heel slider was broken on arrival and I arranged a return but after seeing what was actually supplied, decided that a replacement would be no better, its design was too flimsy to be used for anything, not fit for purpose. They seemed happy with the sock aid. To save the journey to the post office and having to post back (although free), cut my losses and threw the heel slider away.
