I do voice over work and normally work in a sound lab. In this crisis stay at home world, the sound quality produced was not what customers wanted. I got this shield to cut bounce and sound "hollowness". It worked great. I like that it folds up and out of the way when not in use. Very high quality.

I have a live setup for practice in a small room and don't really get the right feel when I use headphones. The speakers were causing some feedback when I cranked the vocal up so I thought I'd try this isolator. I does a great job. You kind of have to set it up just right and then sing but it's not very tough and the feedback is pretty much a thing of the past.

The quality is great, the sound is great, it takes so much time out of my production because the sound is so much neater BUT there were no instructions for setup and no video for setup of this particular model, I almost busted a brain vessel but the quality was good.

heavy duty and works well mounted to mic stand or on desktop. folds closed to minimize space but the hinged areas are not in the center of where you are singing like most folding sound shields, just high quality sound foam. The mounting system for using with a mic stand is well thought out easy to use. Great price for high quality product.

A very good isolation cab but remember this won't make your audio perfect, don't try this in the middle of your living room for example, or a place without couch, bed etc or a wide-open place with only four walls around you, remember that if you have bad reflections the mic will capture this room sound in the front, do not blame this device if you think that makes all the magic by itself, only be a smart guy and this cab will make the rest.A really good feature is that you can put this anywhere without a Mic stand, for example, on a table or desk, this helps me when I have to record my clients on their own offices without a mic stand.Another advice, this cab doesn't come with a proper manual, my recommendation is that use the pictures here on Amazon and you will find the way ;) it's easier than you think.

Cheaply made but it does the job. After a few months, pieces are peeling off but it still functions fine. I would suggest picking this up if the price ever drops.

LyxPro VRI-10, is a fantastic product an brilliant customer service. Had a little confusion with my first order and pow!...The people at LyxPro took care of everything. Everything! This product is well built, and works better than expected...no sliding on the desktop, very stable. The look is just fabulous. You cannot go wrong with this product!!! 5 stars all the way!!!

I use this to do VO work for some of my smaller gigs and, sometimes I have pro-vo artists into my shop to record and this helps a lot. It softens the tone of my very harsh room. Very happy with it - oh, and assembly is easy. 1 word of caution. It's not light and a simple stand may topple with your LyxPro causing your potentially valuable and fragile mic to crash to the ground. Think through your setup to just make sure you are weighted well. I'm probably buying a weighted stand to put this on soon but it's even working on a guitar-mic stand right now because I've been careful to do a thoughtful setup.
