Product Description A bunch of blues covers on this helping of rare live sets from Johnny, including covers of Ray Charles' Blackjack, Freddie King's Sen-Sa-Shun and B.B. King's It's My Own Fault ! Also includes rare photographs from the artist's personal collection, new liner notes and more. Johnny at his bluesiest (and that's pretty bluesy)! Review The first time I heard Johnny...the fire that came screaming out of the speakers was unlike any of his peers. There was something different and unique about his approach............The sound...the chops...the vibrato...the bends.....It was the guitar, the music and his voice that just killed me.Steve Lukather from the liner notes --Live Bootleg Series Volume 6 liner notes excerpts

Some of the sound on them quite good. (remember it's about the music
Owning other discs from this series, I am expecting varying audio quality. I can live with that. Some of the sound on the bootlegs is quite good. (remember it's about the music!) While listening to Volume 6 for the first time, I had this anticipation of what the song "It's my own fault" would be like. It is absolutely one of Johnny's signature cuts. I could not wait to reach the end of the disc (last cut) to hear it. Cut to the chase: The cut floored me......wow. Devastating riffs!! Falling off your chair quality riffs! The sound on the cut was like a 1930's movie theater. Awful. Too bad. I hope Johnny's archivists dig up another version of this cut. The rest of the disc is good enough. The playing makes you forget about it very quickly. To me "Blackjack" and "She likes to boogie real low" are other stand outs on this disc. Based on the playing...buy it. I have bought 1/2 of the bootlegs already to check 'em out and l will buy them all. Johnny Winter, please R.I.P.

10 Stars!
This is probably my favorite Johnny Winter CD that I own. Every song on this album is great. The guitar playing is so amazing and soulful.I remember seeing Johnny Winter in 2003 live and he played a version of "She Likes To Boogie Real Low" with no vocals. I did not know what the song was called but I remembered the way the swing-guitar lick sounded. I had spent seven years, and several albums, trying to find out what song this was. Sure enough, when I listened to this CD and heard the lick on there, it was the greatest thing ever, as a fan. Thanks to Johnny for putting this out and helping me find one of my favorite songs ever.

Volume Six - Another KILLER set of smokin' Winter!!!
If you're anything like me, I've absolutely enjoyed every single one of the Johnny Winter Bootleg series CDs so far, from volumes 1 through 5. In fact, my ears are still smokin' from Volume 5, from it's slo-burn blues opener, through "Rock & Roll Hootchie Koo!"I'm happy to say volume six does not disappoint nor let up - I'm groovin' on this right now (after hours in my office on the BOSE Wave radio,) and am so very glad that Mr. Winter preserved and is putting out the REAL DEAL! BUY IT!!!!

Johnny Winter at his best
The Live Bootleg Series show Johnny Winter at his best: Live! This is already part 6 and hopefully not his last, although the sound quality isn't getting much better than the one before.Nevertheless a must for the Winter fans.

EXCELLENT
It's My Own Fault soit si saturé !

FA-BU-LOUS !
Surely one of the best guitarist of his generation. It has the "Mojo" in him.The blues are sharp and hyper-musical. The high class. This is an indispensable series in a fan of blues discotheque.

ベースはJeff Ganz、ドラムがTom Comptonなので92年の「hey,where's your brother?」 曲目は以下、1.Introduction(アナウンス)2.Sen-Sa-Shun3.Johnny Guitar4.Blackjack5.She Likes To Boogie Real Low6.White Line Blues7.It's My Own Fault (Bonus Track)となっています。

Johnny
