DowAgro Science Garlon 3A Triclopyr Herbicide, 50 Pounds

This is great stuff - we have Maryland rock along the front of our home and a few other areas around pool and pavilion. Last year we asked the lawn co. what to use. He had his crew put this down and we had minimal weeds coming through the rocks - what a pleasure that was compared to the year before! Anyway, he told me the name and compared to their cost, this is cheap for the job it does. FYI - it doesn't kill flowers or shrubs. Of course don't dump it on them but you don't have to worry about it like a weed killer.

Snapshot is the best weed deterrent we've used. If you get it applied early Spring, the weeds won't show up for at lease 6-8 weeks. The price is more expensive than last year (with shipping) so I'm looking to see who I can buy from next time but in the meantime, I'm ready to start off the new season.

I learned about Snapshot from a landscaper and now it is the only pre-emergent I order. You must get it down early before weeds have a chance to root. It will not kill already rooted weeds but will stop spores from being able to root. I use on a rock garden and when used before spring and then on a schedule it works very well. You will need gloves and a bucket or spreader.

I live in Central Arizona on a corner lot with a field behind me. This works much better than what the local landscape store sells. I have a 1/4 acre lot and it covers really well. Saves me a lot of time with growing weeds. I also bought Grandpa's Weeder for some of the weeds that this doesn't keep away. Best two items I ever invested in. I do spread this Pre-emergent every winter before a snowfall. The plus is that this is delivered and I can just drag it into the garage and put the bag on my wagon. Then I just pull the wagon along with me as I use the spreader.

A landscaper told me about this product. I buy it twice a year and it definitely keeps me from having to pull or spray weeds later. I do not like the price, however it is worth it not to have to spend time in the heat to pull and bag weeds. This is a great help to me.

I have used this product for four years and it normally works great. This year I did the normal clean in March apply the Snapshot and you can't tell that I even used the Snapshot. Was there a bad batch made this year? I am having to do the same amount of work now that I did in March. I have been applying it in March and September. I am very disappointed this year that is if I never cleaned everything out in March and applied it. This product is two expense not to work especially since you have used it for four years.
