Ordered the XXL for a 48 chest but the collar was so tight I couldn't zip it all the way up. I have an 18 inch neck which is not overly big so I would have thought with the size of the chest the neck would go up too but not so in this case.Still a great brand though.

For the money this is a good Fleece, it is warm and lightweight, the second one I have purchased. The sleeves don't pull up your arms very easily if it's warm but this is great for the winter not so good in the sun.The quality is good and they last well. Black one tends to attract white dog hairs from our Jack Russell!

I've only bought two snugpak garments before - the first being the Venture Pile Shirt, and now this.I was over the moon with the fit of the VPS in Large as I am 6'4, 200lbs, slim build, and the jacket had an extremely long body and sleeves - similar to that of a Haglofs XL, just with a wider body.I bought the fleece expecting the fit to be the same, but it was ridiculously short in the body and sleeves.Love the brand, but the size inconsistencies have led me elsewhere for my midlayer.Quality wise, it's fairly thin but not poorly made at all. Maybe better suited for shorter, larger bodies than the tall and slim.
