When I first got it, I was looking for real answers and support that made sense without a degree in behavioral science. ABA Visualized totally delivers on that—it’s straightforward, with step-by-step visuals and practical advice that just click.The book covers 27 techniques for preventing and managing challenging behaviors, and each one is broken down in a way that’s so easy to follow. The illustrations make a huge difference, and it’s filled with self-help strategies you can practice immediately. I even bring it to PPT meetings because it’s so helpful in explaining our goals and what we’re working on. Sure, some BCBAs might have opinions about the language, but honestly, I found it a refreshing take that reinforced what I learned during the birth-to-three program. ABA isn’t for every child, but it’s made a real difference for mine. Highly recommend it to any parent in the trenches!

As a parent entering into aba the amount of technical terminology and overly complex explanations of techniques can be a barrier. What child therapist researchers have against just saying DEmanding is beyond me. Anyway...Unlike my review this book is brief and to the point - you could read it in a day and learn basically every key technique. The illustrations make how to do the basics extremely clear and it also comes with handy cutout visual schedules and other tools. I wish I'd read this first as it clarified a lot of small things for me and has helped me apply the techniques with my ASD child better. Read this first and it will get you rapidly off the ground so you can better understand what your aba therapists are doing and help carry it forward on your own.

This is a very simplistic and clear way to explain the core concepts of ABA. This in my opinion would be a great tool for parent training or to explain what RBT's and BCBA's do for a living. There is a token board, next and then, and visual schedule templates in the back of the book in which I have copied and laminated for future use. Definitely worth the money if you are starting out as a RBT or studying for certification.

This is an amazing product to use. It truly helps families understand what we are implementing with their child.

I use this book once I complete the first intro book with parents and teachers; it's very user friendly. It's not too heavy and the information is precise. Great tool to use to collaborate with other professionals.

I bought this book for a class of mine, though I didn't use it much. When I did, the techniques were easy to follow.

My son was recently diagnosed with ASD but we’ve been struggling with behavior for a couple years. It is overwhelming to think of all the areas we need improvement and then to think of all that I have to learn to help him.I received this book yesterday and after thumbing through it, I was overcome with relief! Here is a comprehensive foundation for our journey, and I am so thankful to the authors! I love the templates and the imagery is A+. I want to get a copy for my child’s preschool teacher and other caregivers. It’s fantastic. We havn’t yet met with our ABA providers, but I’m confident we will have a great head start going in!

As an ABA therapy company, we love this book. It's great at explaining the concepts behind ABA for parents and incoming employees. It's a great tool for having an extra way of explaining concepts. The pictures are extremely helpful. I wish they would make it in multiple languages!
