When we opened the undamaged package, we found multiple damaged tubes. It was well packed and the original shipping box had no damage either. The quality/sturdiness was what I expected based on the reviews I had already read. However, my husband didn't think it would be sturdy enough to hold up in an elementary aged child's room seeing as it didn't live through shipping in a well packed box. The bottom of each shelf is not rigid and flat enough for them to use to display things like photo frames, ceramic painted items, lego construction etc. They want to display and see their treasures so even if the seller replaced the damaged tubes, this isn't a good fit.

First the provided instructions were SUPER WRONG. After struggling for 30 minutes to understand why following the instructions was not creating a shelf and throwing them away, assembly took about an hour. The shelf itself is great for my specific need; storage of light weight kids toys. Makes my daughter's room so much more organized!

You get what you pay for and I had to move the almost assembled stacks before I had the chance to fit them in what I think is the proper space. I lost the directions or maybe they didn’t come with any but anyway I think one complaint while assembling, that I found at least, was that there wasn’t really a variation to how the arrangement can be positioned but I could be wrong and I’ll update this review once everything is in place.

**UPDATE:I had to wing it a little bit, but I finally got it together. Works well!This was not easy to assemble. I followed directions, and it fell apart each time I tried to put it together. I also didn’t receive the correct parts. Instead of 9 boxes, I have 4 that I had to rig myself. Don’t waste your money.

The Directions suck and they are wrong. Good thing that I noticed early on that they way they were telling me to do it did not "Fit" correctly. Over all it looks good and I feel like it had lots of room for what I need.

I had a complicated time putting it together but then the hunny came to my rescue and had it up in no time so it was probably just me. This item is amazing. I use it to hold my toddler sons toys , books, and for extra blanket storage on his room. I absolutely love it and it's a great price. It looks like it wouldn't be able to fulfill your expectations but I assure it once you start filling it, it will.

I didn't put top cube on( interfered with my pictures) but it organized my grandson's toys. 2 of those cubes are filled with Legos, one with action figures,and one with cars/trucks and such. Organized and neat. Before it was a big toy bin that he had to dig everything out to find what he wanted, now it's right at finger tips.

I had high hopes that this would be the bookshelf I needed in my classroom. It was MUCH smaller than anticipated. The photos were deceptive. It was extremely hard to put together and it did not stay put together if anything as heavy as a book was placed on it. I tried using it for awhile, but basically it was a paper sorter. I could lay paper flat on it, but if I tried to stand a book on the "shelf" (what a joke to call it that), it would collapse. The picture makes it look like the "shelves" are made of a sturdy plastic, but it was flimsy fabric. It looks kinda cute in the pictures, but don't be decieved like I was. It was worse than useless because it was a hasle to throw it away.
