Dimensions are exactly as advertised, overall it is a little larger that I imagined. Light output is higher than I expected for the white light and red is very low. I do wish the white would dim down as much as the red. Red has one brightness setting.Memory of last light setting works perfectly when switching off white light and back on again. When you remove power and re-establish it goes back to exact color and brightness when you removed power. If switched off and then power removed it stays off when power restored.Power consumption at 12V is as follows: Off/no light = 5.5 mA, Red light = 12.5 mA, White light (min) = 36 mA, White light (max) = 189 mA. Note that the light will draw a small amount of power always and I plan to install a switch upstream to avoid battery drain when parked for long periods.Only con is that the gooseneck isn't as stiff as I would like, it droops in some positions. I am not going to return and instead try to use as is because I like everything else about the light.

This review it's for the Genuine Marine L0311U LED light w\usb. A very well made product which I am happy I purchased. I installed two of them in our camper van replacing 2 halogen, goose neck reading lights. They draw fewer amps and give off far more light than the old halogen. The LED light appears warm to my eyes. They dim, but not entirely. I find their lowest setting is nearly good enough for reading, where their brightest setting is great for removing a sliver or finding a dropped contact lens (you get my meaning). The control button is touch sensitive. It doesn't depress. First tap turns on a dim blue light (night light) surrounding the button. Second tap turns on the light. Then touching continually will brighten or dim the light. A final tap will shut it off. Next time you tap it on it will have remembed the last setting and come on at that intensity. Construction is metal and of the highest quality Workmanship. The gooseneck is stiff and doesn't sag even when bouncing down the road. This light LO301U has a USB charger port. There is an identical model LO301 that does not so be sure you know which one you are ordering. The only con have it's that it doesn't dim entirely to off, but it's hardly an issue worth dropping a star considering it's attention to build quality. If you're looking for a dimmable LED gooseneck reading light then there isn't a better choice than this. Having a USB charge port is just frosting on the cake.

I purchased this gooseneck lamp for the bunk space my son uses in our travel trailer. The light that was there is extremely bright, so I decided to add this so he could use it as a reading light.I tapped into the power for the existing light and drilled a couple of holes to run wires to the location I wanted to install this gooseneck lamp. The bracket inside the base of this lamp comes off so you can attach it to the wall and run the wires inside, then you hook the base back on and tighten down the screws. Simple install.The light works great. The gooseneck is tight but still flexible, so it stays in place where you put it. The switch works well - one touch turns on just the blue light, a second touch turns on the lamp too. Third touch turns it off.I've only had it installed for a week but it worked great when I was testing it.Update: Oct 24, 2019This has now been installed for a few months and the light has endured several hundred miles of bouncing around inside of our travel trailer. The light still works great, my son really enjoys using it for reading, and we have had no issues whatsoever.

this item only works okay for me.... it seems hard to move without turning off or on.... the swivel does not range as much as I had hoped for and although it does dim..... its not all that much....I ordered one with a longer goose neck that works much better and slow dims all the way to very soft....I would return these ones but I’ve had them a long time.... trying to get Comfortable using them

Installed these in place of the cheap RV reading lights in the bedroom. These are really well made out of metal and come in this compact round box. The lights themselves were smaller than expected but put out a good amount of truly directional light. The blue night light is strong enough to navigate and locate the device. The USB port is handy for charging my phone. These lights are sleek and well made. I didn't realize they were touch operated until they arrived. Exactly what I was looking for.

Brilliant light, easy installation, very versatile

Only negative comment is that the USB charging port is fairly low power. Took longer to charge my phone than the plug-in charger. Otherwise this is a really high end light. Solidly built. Should last a long time.

For me, a new bar has been set for 5 stars. When I ordered these lights I thought they were a bit on the expensive side. I was expecting plastic quality. Boy was I wrong and surprised when I received these wonderful, top quality metal lights. They are polished, easy to install, and work perfectly. LED’s are dimmable, the blue night light is a bonus, and the usb charger is exactly what we needed for the bedroom in our camper. No more fighting over one charger plug, and no more wires running across our bed. The two wire 12v wiring made for a simple replacement of our existing 12v inefficient reading lamps. Looks top shelf too, a total bonus. Highly recommend and well worth the money. 12v USB reading lamps are hard to find. Save time and order these. You will not be disappointed. BONUS UPDATE.
