Decent , good value and good quality hooks. Very sharp and not easy to straighten out, even on big fish.

I have fished for over 40 years and used SS O' Shaughnessy hooks for a lot of that time. I mainly use them when trolling for pelagics.These are not uniform. Some of the eyes are slightly open / larger or smaller than others in the box.The points have no cutting edge but are sharp and pointed but not chemically sharpened or uniform. They look like they were finished by hand, which can be good if it is done to a high standard, which does not seem to be the case with these. Some of the hooks appear to be offset which creates problems when trolling. They are certainly not up to Mustad quality but would likely work for most applications. It would be a shame if a hook lets you down having taken all that time and effort to get a bite only to lose it to an inferior hook. Decent but not good.
