Fantastic little book, great for cross referencing etc

Great to use and excellent layout, format & information.

I’ve started to collect historical coins recently. The problem I have had is not knowing the true professional value. I get calls and emails from different companies offering me certain coins, with this book, I am able to know if it’s good value or not. It provides a bit of info on some of the coins, value of coins based on condition (good, fine, very fine, extremely fine, uncirculated and brilliant uncirculated). It does have a lot of adverts, I think that’s just to keep the price low, which it is compared to other similar books.

Hi.....a very useful guide to English coins right back to 1770, giving up to five grades with values......gives many varieties as well....just be aware that some of the values can be occasionally be off the mark, especially for some of the rarer items, but overall a very good effort for a relatively low price.....Steve

The information seems accurate and appears to be referred to by other sources! I wonder how accurate the prices are as a number of items seem to selling at figures higher than those listed in the pages! Or, could this just be a case of 'supply and demand?'
