I had high expectations for this pack and it let me down in every category. I purchased it knowing it was about 10$ more than its competitors of the same size assuming it meant it was a higher quality pack and boy was I wrong. First, it's labeled as an 85L pack but it literally holds about half of what my other pack (a 80+5L) holds. It has no means of expansion to any of its chambers and has no extra straps to add more gear to he outside either.Second, the side pockets it does have are designed in such a way that if the zippered part is full, you can't use the mesh outer pocket. If I used the mesh part to hold a water bottle, then I couldn't use the zippered part. Also, the straps on the sides are totally worthless because the do are a cinch without a buckle, so they cannot be undone without great effort, they are installed at odd angles so they do not cinch down on the pocket to compress it but also aren't in a position to use for holding a tarp or anything. Neither are these straps long enough to hold anything of any size. So basically when it comes to side storage, you have to use either the pocket or the mesh or the straps.Finally, the overall quality of the material and stitching is not good. My pack only weighed 40 lbs and the two straps that hold the cap pocket tight both broke while carrying it upright to pack it into the car! As the hike went on, the pack started coming apart at the seams in several places including the cinch strap across the very top of the pack and where the belt attaches to the frame. I think if I had to use it another day or two I would have had to carry everything in my hammock.I would not recommend this pack to anyone. Ever.P.S. The waterproof bag cover is too small to actually cover the pack.

If you tighten any strap down to tight it has a good chance of just ripping out of the material. Zippers are also weak in most areas. That being said... I love my backpack and use it everyday. Just pay attention. Amazon remove this item, simply due to the human that is bothering me to remove my review that is with this company

 The Fencher 85 plus liter backpack is designed for serious backpacking. A lot of thought was put into planning this backpack, it is packed with some very outstanding features.There is room for two sleeping bags – one at the top and one at the bottom. There are numerous small storage compartments on the backpack. There are zippered compartments, mesh pockets for storing water bottles or similar type items. On the bottom side of the support strap system are two zippered pockets.There is also a hood that covers the main compartment. Most of the straps are use quick release connector clips for ease of packing/unpacking.There is a metal internal frame that holds the backpack straight, keeps it stable on your back. The back of the pack is well padded and mesh lined to provide air circulation. The shoulder straps are well padded and thick to provide a comfortable experience when wearing the backpack.The material is water resistance polyester. It also comes with a waterproof cover. The interior is lined for additional waterproof protection.The backpack is lightweight but very sturdy, durable. The zippers all have heavy duty zippers with pull tabs for ease of use.Well made, with lots of nice features.
