I needed an energy boost and these work great. They are tiny pills that fit under the tongue. Only take about 20 secs for it to really start to breakdown. Energy is awesome and really does work. You would have no trouble swallowing or taking sublingual.These are well priced and will purchase again. The melting action is fast.

For me I believe that B12 is a must for me..especially for energy..

Nature's Bounty was the first B12 supplement I ever took, and it's been the one I've used the most over the years. Good light cherry flavor and a little sweetness from the mannitol. I believe when I first started taking these, they were 5000 mcg, while they're now 1000 mcg, but that's still 16,667% of the FDA's pre-2016 DV of 6 μg, or 41,667% of the new DV of 2.4 μg, and these are sublingual tablets for better bioavailability, so that should still be more than enough.These tablets are disc-shaped, rather than barrel-shaped like some other manufacturers', which makes them easier to get out of the bottle, though I believe they've made them smaller since I first started getting them, which does increase the difficulty of extraction. Also, they seem to dissolve more quickly than they used to, which makes me worry a little whether enough sublingual absorption is happening before it becomes essentially impossible not to swallow the rest.All things considered, I've been very happy with these over the years, although I did have a bad experience recently. In February 2019, I bought two bottles from Amazon, and one was from Lot 311349-01, Exp. 07/21, while the other was from Lot 998595-01, Exp. 11/19. The 7/21 bottle was as expected, but the 11/19 bottle had a terrible, strong chemical smell inside the bottle. I kind of stupidly tried one of the tablets anyway, and it tasted like that too. Amazon was good about replacing the bad bottle, but now that this has occurred, I do need to recommend smelling these bottles after opening them, and to ask for an exchange of any with a strong chemical smell. There should be very little smell inside the bottles, and what smell there is should be neutral at worst, not unpleasant.

I was told by my Dr. that I need a vitamin b12 supplement. 1000 micrograms a day. There are 2 kinds, methylcobalinan & cyanocobaliman. I take the methyl & it keeps my b12 levels just fine. I'm not a Dr. nor pharmacist but after reading up on cyanocobaliman I found out it contains small amounts of cyanide. I suggest you read up on it & make your own decision. The Nature's Bounty is a very small pill & easy to swallow. They say to chew it but I've been swallowing it whole. Go by what your Dr. tells you to do & what kind to take, be it methyl or cyano. I've had a hard time finding methyl but Amazon had it & got it very quickly. I feel 100% safe with this brand & got approval from my Dr. for reading up on it. Great product & great fast service!

Per my doctor, I have to take oral/dissolving Vitamin B12. The price is good compared to my local CVS.
