Beauty Jam Whipped Day Moisturizer for Dry Sensitive Skin, Lavender, Citrus and Rosemary Leaf, 1.7 Ounce

This moisturizer smells really good. If you don't like orengy smell then maybe you won't like it, but I love it. It's not overwhelming so I don't mind it at all. It's very thick so you don't need a lot of it to get results. Unless you have dry skin, then this product is not for you and you need to look for one that is for dry skin. I have combination skin, my nose, forehead and chin get really oily while the rest can be a bit dry. I won't say this is the best product out there since I haven't tried them all, but I can say it works pretty well. When I wash my face in the morning, I apply one pump of this on my skin, the bottle says two, but like I said before, you don't need a lot for it to work. The first time I used it, I didn't know how the pump worked so I pumped it all the way down and got too much product. I had to apply it all and later on my face was a bit oily. The next day I used less and it worked perfectly. I've been using it for more than two weeks and I live in a tropical island so the weather is always hot and humid, my skin is no longer as oily as it was before.

I decided to try this moisturizer because of the low price and basically good ingredients.

I've experimented with many different moisturizers and skin creams, but this Beauty Jam Whipped Day Moisturizer is unlike any I've used before. It glides easily onto my face and almost seems to melt into it, leaving my skin with a smooth, satiny finish. It's hard to describe unless you feel it for yourself; the surface of my skin feels almost unnaturally smooth after applying this moisturizer, yet (surprisingly) it doesn't feel as if there's a film sitting atop it. And I love the matte finish! I've tended to skip moisturizers more often than I should because I don't like the shiny finish most leave behind...but that's not an issue with this product.I'd give this Beauty Jam moisturizer 5 stars based on its performance alone; it leaves my epidermis looking and feeling great, AND it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. It's important to me to buy cruelty-free products, and this product ticks that box, as well. It's also made in the USA, and it has a pleasant light scent derived from natural botanical ingredients (lavender, citrus, and rosemary leaf oil). Those are all just bonuses.Given the gentleness and effectiveness of this moisturizer, the price seems very fair -- it works even better than high-end brands I've tried, at a fraction of the cost. All in all, it's a good value and I plan to repurchase when my bottle runs low. I'd love to see Beauty Jam come out with a hand cream, too!

Nice gel cream moisturizer. Does not irritate my non acne rosacea prone middle aged skin. I wasn't going to try it at first when I saw that it is labeled for Oily skin, as I definitely lean dry. BUT, when I read the ingredients and saw that it contains Rosehip oil as well as other nourishing oils (very nourishing, balancing, skin loving oils.. yet not greasy/oily), I knew that this would be ok for any skin type. I figured it was worth trying.I think if you have oily skin, then this is a good contender to try. It goes on smooth and absorbs really well. My skin likely sucked it up, but I imagine it would be real pleasant for oilier skin. For other skin types, it could be used as a quick, easy, light moisturizer or make up primer as it absorbs quickly yet skin feels smooth and fresh. Great for those that don't want to feel weighed down that some moisturizers can create. I would like to make this my summer moisturizer as I tend to slather on sunscreen and it would be nice to have a layer of nourishing face cream between sunscreen and my face.If you do want to try it and have dry skin.. and find that it needs a little more oomph, add in an additional oil, either mixed in or patted on top. Can even pat on an occlusive or something that will just seal this all in.I also like it on the back of my hands as well as use as a lip balm. I keep this at my desk (at home, along with other skin care).. and since I like the way it feels and smells, I want to use it for more than my face. Truly, lovely.Lovely lotion. Great air tight bottle- keeps things fresh. Light, slightly sweet scent. Not cloying or headache inducing. Rather pleasant and fresh. Nice ingredients!I recommend. I think it is worth trying, anyway! If I learn anything new or experience anything different, I will be back to update.

This review is for Beauty Jam Whipped Day Moisturizer for Dry Sensitive Skin, 1.7 Ounce. I honestly was not a fan of this moisturizer. I use moisturizer every day and I like to feel like my skin has nothing on it. I don't wear makeup so I don't need it to act as a primer. I just like having a good lotion for my face. For me this did not work well. I did like the scent which was a little sweet and light. The bottle is odd and seemed like I had to pump 10 times to get it to start to come out. I am not a fan of the pump because it is large and a little awkward. The whipped moisturizer was a nice texture and was light. It is white in color but disappears when you rub it in. I used a small amount on my entire face and it seemed like it wasn't absorbing in my skin well. About an hour later, I felt my face and it felt powdery. When I rubbed my finger along it, it then got greasy. So for me, this left a film or residue on my face and I didn't like it. It seemed like it just did not absorb into my skin like my other moisturizers have always done. This one isn't for me.

Honesty, the title of my review here says it all. First, this moisturizer has more of a gel than a lotion consistency. Second, a little goes a long way, which is probably good because the container feels large but has very little weight to it, so I don't think there's much in there. It took me quite a few (like, a couple dozen) pumps to get it working the first time.The biggest issue is that I have combination skin and the dry wintertime is clearly not the best time for me to use this moisturizer - it just doesn't do the job right now/leaves my skin feeling very tight. I might retry it in the summer, though.
