What good is a grill without a good base!
Very pleased, holds tightly to the rail. The grill is very stable

Mounted Weber Q1200
Used one factory hole, drilled another. Easy drilling for stainless. Be sure to leave room for the nut when you drill the hole in the foot of the Q. This holds the rail very tight.

Easy-to-use
Easy to install. Very sturdy. Easy to mount and dismount the barbecue on the rail so it can be mounted when you want to use it and dismounted and stowed when you are finished.

Great item - a must have for your boat grill
This is a great mounting system for our grill. We were heeling pretty hard and the grill did not even make one move. It is VERY easy to install and does not get in the way when you're on the boat. We trailer our Cat-22, so just attached it when we got to the dock and left it on all day. Then took it back down to go home. I can't imagine buying one of the other mounts where grill is practically inside the boat. This is definitely the way to go. And I highly recommend the HD (heavy duty) so you can sail with the grill attached...who wants to be setting up a grill and waiting for it to cool down before they can sail?

No mounting hardware.
Last time I will buy a magma ptoduct and I have been buying them for a few decades. The build is good, and holds the grill well to the 1" tube on my boat.My gripe is a philosophical one. How the hell Magma can charge me $100 for a grill mount and not supply the necessary mounting hardware is just unacceptable. Who was the rocket scientist at magma that decided to save thirty cents by not including 4 bolts and 4 nuts is a compleate moron.

Not for 1" railing like stated
This is NOT for a 1" railing like the description states. This is for 1 1/4 railing. I was able to make it work with some modifications but it specifically states it's for a 1" railing in the description.

Missing parts
I brought this product at a discount because it had been purchased and returned. My problem was it was missing number of parts. It should've been inspected before sent to me. I will be returning this item.

Great sturdy product.
You get what you pay for and this is a quality product and the rolls Royce of barbecues and the best secure support you can put Beneath it. You world not take your Rolls to Canadian tire for service. So as I said you get what you pay fir and this was worth every penny and more.
