Awesome...just hope the gears don't strip out
Used this on a 20 foot boat hoist w/a canopy. My husband and I waited way too long to remove our hoist, so we actually installed this while the hoist was in 34F degree water (done w/waders, wetsuit gloves, and by picking up the hoist and putting it on blocks to minimize time spent with our hands in the water). Our kit didn't come with wingnuts as shown, but lock nuts which necessitated a trip to the hardware store, annoying. Went on with little trouble, because we were in the water we put it on the edge and slid it down the hoist beam to the middle-ish.Our only complaint is that the screw/gear that lifts the wheel in and out feels very weak. Not sure how many seasons it will last. Thus 4 stars. On the video they show one guy running around with a hoist...hmm..granted we had a canopy, there were 2 of us and we had to use a come-along.All that said, a very clever and promising product. Our local guys charge $150 to put a hoist in and $150 out, so this was worth a try.Last thing I'll say is that the kit comes with the 2" washers and pins to hold the wheels on, so you just need to order the 24" wheels. Our smarte (why is "smart" spelled wrong lol?) jack kit also came with 2 plastic sleeves in case the wheel inner diameters were smaller than need be. That was helpful because the wheels we got on amazon needed these sleeves.Best part about this was that just my husband, me, and a come along tied to our deck were required here. No begging friends and family to help. I read that some people use their boat to pull their wheeled hoist back in the water, we'll prolly try that this coming year.Happy boating!

Works Pretty Much as Advertised
Have a problem with leveling our lift in the water and this product does help; although it took two sets so a fairly expensive addition as we already had wheels but replaced with these. Wish they extended a bit more than 20 inches. Maybe they have a more heavy duty set that I did not see when I purchased these. For my lift they could only be installed on the outside of the lift frame because the gear shaft has to extend upward. Not a design flaw, just have to accommodate for the carriage of the lift which can’t have obstructions to operate. This limits how close I can get to my dock, leaving a bit of a gap where people board our pontoon. Have to plan for that when aligning the dock and lift if you dock has wheels as well. You need a pretty powerful cordless drill if you want to put a driver on it to make the wheels go up and down quickly. My “not so heavy” drill would not work and it takes some time with a ratchet to adjust the legs. They are a good idea and I found them useful when putting the lift in this spring. Hope they work as well in the fall when we pull the lift out. This product works as advertised but you need a good cordless drill to really take advantage of the convenience it offers.

These are a little spendy but will be made up for in time saving....
I bought one set of these jacks from Amazon and found I needed 2 sets. My Shoremaster pontoon lift has a cross member right where I needed to mount them. This made it necessary to order another set. Of course Amazon was out of stock on the 2nd set and no one else had them in stock. Then Amazon got a return and they said them were in "new condition". Bought those, they work great just like the others but they were used and not new. :-(The jacks install in about 20 minutes. 4 large carriage bolts on each one. I bought the wheels from a local farm store for $49 each. The wheels crank down in a few minutes and the lift rolled in very fast. Installing the lift took about 10 minutes with the Smart Jack. I have told many of my neighbors. One of who said "about time someone came out with something that works on lifts the same as docks". These are a little spendy but will be made up for in time.... 5 stars.

This is a great product for my shore station.
I had ordered one of these sets last year, and a set of wheels to go on my shore station. Removing the shorestation was still quite the chore. I went ahead and purchased a 2nd one of these and now my shore station has 4 wheels and 4 lifts. I was able to roll it out into place with myself (220lbs) and my 12 year old son and 14 year old daughter helping briefly for a little bit. It literally took me like 15-20 minutes to get it there (60-70) feet from shore and in place and ready to go. I'm not dreading having to take it out this winter, as going in was much more of a breeze.

Jackscrew hardware should be hardened.
I expected them to last longer, end of first season and one fell apart due to soft materials used on the jackscrew bolt and pin. I'm waiting for an email response since I cannot find a source for replacement parts before updating response.

Part missing
This is my second set of 4 as I liked the first one. However, a large washer was missing. The company still hasn't gotten smart an replaced the final keeper with a stainless bolt. The ones that come with it only last a year. On another set it rusted through and I lost a $50 wheel. Then had to convince the company to furnish new washers at no cost.

Installed Easily and Helped With Rolling My Lift In
I installed the jacks along with the other wheels I had previously so I had wheels on each corner. My lake bottom is a little mucky and can be difficult to roll through. With 4 wheels on the bottom my lift rolled in much easier than previously. The jacks were easy to install and operated as advertised. I'll let you know how they work when I remove my lift this fall. So far, an excellent product that I would highly recommend. My only concern might be longevity of the screw system, but it's too early to tell.

Buy 2 sets.
I thought this would make moving our boat lift in and out of the water so much easier, but you have to balance the lift and it still takes at least 3 people to push, pull and keep the front end lifted. Next time I would plan on buying 2 sets so I had 4 wheels. Other than that it was easy to assemble and operate the wheel jacks.
