It does what I want it to do.
It does exactly what I expected it to do.I wanted to wet and then soap up my hands without touching the faucet first.I simply did not want to touch the faucet first with unclean hands, wash my hands, rinse and then touch the now unclean faucet, which would contaminate my hands. Using paper towels to turn on the faucet is not always convenient never mind wasting precious paper towels.I thought that a soap dispenser would do the trick of dispensing enough water to wet my hands, especially a soap dispenser where you can determine how much liquid you can put on your hands. Of course I assumed that a soap dispenser would work with just plain water too.I'm glad to say that this product did the trick. I put it at the maximum amount of water to be delivered and it gives a good handful of water. It's enough to wet your hands well so you can soap them up. Since I keep my faucets disinfected, my soaped up hands are touching a clean faucet when I turn on the faucet to rinse my hands. I'm maintaining the cleanliness of the faucet when I shut off the faucet with now clean hands.Of course this method doesn't work for everybody. I would not recommend it for a family. It works for me.

*Catastrophic failure within minutes, leaked all over batteries
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Original Review from 7/23:Everything set up exactly according to instructions. Turned on and makes the dispensing sound but nothing came out and it just filled the battery compartment with soap. Packed up and refunded the same day.Update (8/8/20):*New one works great for Soap, not so much for Hand Sanitizer! The amount that comes out is way more than enough for hand sanitizer, so IMO they should stop using those keywords and title (The box correctly says Soap Dispenser). The flaw on the first one was the rubber tip on the "outlet", it was sealed closed the first time, so I think the soap backed up. After my refund, Bovon was alerted to this failure, and thanks to the intrepid work of Scarllet, a new replacement dispenser came swiftly to our doors. It works, and I'll give them 5 stars because they went out of their way to make it right (at no cost).tl;dr: I would not recommend for hand sanitizer, but for hand soap it would get 5/5 for the price, if you don't get a dud first.

Elegant and durable.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I love this soap dispenser. The sensor is very responsive, it has a large storage capacity, I can use any type of liquid soap and I can see the volume of soap.It take 4 AA batteries and the tank has a large opening and made of durable materials. It looks very elegant in my kitchen.I plan to buy another one for my bathroom.Edited: Great customer service. I had a problem 7 months after I made my purchase, and I was treated with such respect and care. They went above and beyond my expectations to solve my problem.I am very satisfied with the way I was treated by this company. They take the quality of their products very seriously.Thank you.

GREAT PRICE, OKAY PERFORMANCE
We use these for common areas at church. The motion detection could be a little faster. On the lowest setting it dispenses a lot of hand sanitizer. I recommend using a thicker gel like hand sanitizer as opposed to a regular liquid type. They look nice, are light and hold a good amount of sanitizer so you aren't refilling the unit constantly. I would still recommend these if you are in the market for a solid no-touch hand sanitizer dispenser and don't mind having a lot of sanitizer dispensed per use.

I Oprah love this thing!
The motion sensor is located so you cannot accidentally set it off with movement in front of the dispenser. It is top fill and the amount of soap dispensed is adjustable. Due to some medical issues I frequently have to use a sling or brace on one arm. Trying to use a pump soap bottle is so challenging. This solves it all.

Not very durable and cannot be programmed to dispense correct amount of soap.
Purchased this item but didn’t really put it to use until recently. Worked for two weeks and suddenly stopped working. No matter how much I pressed the minus button for the thing to dispense less soap, it doesn’t work! It’s a piece of junk! Since I had the item in storage for almost a year and even though I just put it to work recently, I highly doubtful that I’ll get a replacement.

Replacement working as it should. Thanks Amazon for a fair replacement policy.
Followed directions. Inserted batteries as shown. Held plus button down as directed. Nothing! Removed batteries and they were warm to touch. Ordered a replacement. Maybe I just received a defective unit. Will adjust my rating after I install replacement! Update 2/12. Received replacement. Installed batteries and it sprang to life. Works as expected. How long it works will be the real test! So far so good. PS:. Amazon is great replacing defective merchandise. 2/19/2020 working as it should. Increased to 4 stars!

Was great for a while
Purchased January 2020 for use in my kitchen. Setup was fairly easy and I finally got it set to the lowest dispenser setting. Worked great for almost 2 months. Now it dispenses on the highest setting I believe (it's a LOT of soap), and won't change. So it technically still works, just not the way I want. And it's wasting a lot of soap.
