Stanwood Bonsai Tool Professional Grade Japanese Ashinaga Shears

Bent while cutting through the base of a large red snapper's skull. Hard to downgrade the rating of shears meant for small plants for bending on bones, but I have another pair of Stanwood Butterfly shears with larger handle loops and shorter arms that are truly beasts. I call them "bone snips."I bent them back in to place and now use them as my shears in my kitchen and garden at home. Perfectly fine, very sharp, nice shears. Be careful when cutting through things you shouldn't be cutting through.

Sturdy and very sharp. As they are carbon steel, care to dry them carefully after use is a must.

Very nice quality, nicely finished tool. I am an experienced bonsai enthusiast and would recommend these as general purpose shears for beginning and intermediate bonsai hobbyists.
