RQ12 Shaver Head for Philips Norelco SensoTouch 3D Replacement Shaving Head

For whatever reason, the search for a genuine replacement Norelco shaver head is not easy. Prices vary greatly and some appear to be knock-offs that are packaged in authentic looking packages. I was bitterly disappointed in a previous RQ12 replacement head purchase. It was absolute junk. It did not cut as well as my old head and it fell to pieces within 90 days. This replacement head however, IS A PLEASANT SURPRISE. Other reviews of this product said it was only the blades-- I can affirm that the product delivered to me is the COMPLETE head. Best of all, it works as well as the original. The shave quality for me has been excellent.

The media could not be loaded. This item is likely a knockoff that definitely not worth the money. After 1 month of use (I shave maybe once every 3 days), it started to make loud noises as if the blades are off alignment, you can tap on it and it may slip back into place but as you put it back on your face the noise comes back, and it pulls on your hair instead of cutting it, basically junk.And I missed the return window by a day!Please improve your quality.

At one-third the price of the RQ12PRO shaving head, this is an economical replacement comparable to the original version of the RQ12 head for my Norelco SensoTouch 3D model 1250X. Although it was a little trickier to snap into place than the original RQ12 or PRO versions, it works properly and has given safisfactory shaves for my first month of use. And it's about as easy to clean. I figure even if it doesn't hold up for a full year, I'll still be ahead on price if lasts more than 4 months.

These blades give a good shave but they are much louder than the factory made blades. Overall I'm satisfied, especially as Norelco no longer makes this item.

Do not buy other 2nd market product This one works as expected!

If you're looking for an actual Phillips brand RQ12 replacement head, they haven't made them for years. So everything you see out there now is a copy or knock off. And I would be okay with a knock off of the original if it stayed true to the original. BUT, THIS ONE IS NOT. The picture they show is of the original, but you can see from my attached picture that it is not the same thing. The holes on the individual heads are not the same and when you take it apart you find out that it only has half as many blades as the original. Additionally, it literally broke in my hand when I tried to put it on. I understand that this cost a lot less than the original, but it's much cheaper for a reason...
