Bisto Chip Shop Curry Sauce Mix 185g

The curry bisto makes a very nice sauce that goes well with with fries or chicken. It still has that Bisto taste - it's far from a proper curry. And it isn't healthy. But it's a quick and delicious treat.I've ordered it twice from Amazon, and both times I received a fresh tub with a distant expiration date. I recommend ordering this with other items that are likely to be shipped in a box. It's a flimsy cardboard tub that doesn't always do well in a padded envelope.

Bit pricey but I expect that with imported products. I've been hankering after chip shop curry sauce for months! This tastes just like it, although without those little chunks you get with the real thing. Will buy again but not often because it is expensive.

My husband is British and I lived in England for a few years. We love chip shop curry gravy, which is not a thing in the US. Spotted this and decided to give it a try. It's good, but could be a bit spicier and less expensive. I added hot curry powder to spice it up a bit. I've tried making it from scratch but was disappointed with it. Back to the drawing board. This stuff works great in the meantime. Worth it if you don't want to make your own!

Makes a just OK curry-ish? Flavored sauce. I think it's mostly just cornstarch by the look of it. Save your money, just make your own with butter, flour, coconut milk or regular milk and your favorite curry powder.

Yummy.....I always make this curry when I have fish and chips....just add hot water.....so easy and quick to make...!

Being a Brit in America it’s amazing to find such products available, this curry reminds me of the chippy back home, although far from the same it satisfies the taste buds. Goes great w chips (fries)

I love having a curry sauce mix on hand, having bought bisto in the past, this was smaller than i expected for the price. BUT, i now have curry for my chips, so I'm still happy and probably would have gotten it anyway. . . . I need them to sell a bigger one! keep in mind, this is mild, you'll have to add the spiciness yourself
