works great. there is a great seal above the elbow to keep lower arm dry of you have to keep a bandage cast dry. it goes on and off easily

I had surgery on my non-dominant wrist, and it made me realize how often I use that hand/arm even though it isn’t dominant - especially in the shower! This protective sleeve was perfect - the arm hole has a sufficiently pliable water barrier that allowed me to easily insert my wrist without aggravating the incision, but it then kept moisture out while I showered. Easy to get on and off, easy to keep clean, and just what I needed for the 6 weeks I wasn’t allowed to get my wrist wet.

Really works- from fingertips to almost to shoulder and fully covered adult male. Borrowed a very similar one from a friend and this one wasn’t as tight on arm but still provided same waterproofing and felt more comfortable and easier to stretch.It was a life saver to be able to shower.

The media could not be loaded. My right arm is in a cast. It was super easy to pull over my cast and have the seal at my bicep. I try to keep it out of the water as much as possible just in case.... but eventually I let the water run down it just to see.No water came in.The protector is HUGE tho. I'm 5'2" and 140#. It was clearly made for huge people or the most enormous casts and splints.One thing I want to mention is that moisture does naturally occur. If u wrap ur arm or body part in plastic, like saran wrap, ur body does sweat. It's the same with this protector. So I personally feel some of these reviews are not so accurate. They say it leaked, but some of the pictures just look like the natural moisture that occurs, not because of a defective product.My arm was hardly damp, my cast was dry. But I could tell it was like sweat beads on my arm.U can see in the video there is a little moisture inside, but I do take extremely hot showers and my arm felt really warm in there, so it's definitely moisture coming from my arm, not from the shower itself.I hope to never be in a cast again, but if i was, I'd use this again. I plan on keeping it, just in case I ever need it again.I gave 4 stars, just because it's way oversized and very bulky.

This worked perfectly for my arm after surgery. It definitely would fit a good range of bicep sizes. It lasted during my 8 week recovery and I’ve stored it for future use, which I hope never happens.

Used this for daily showers for 6 weeks. The blue part was snug enough to keep water out. During the first week I needed assistance getting it on while I only had a soft bandage in place because any pressure on my injury would have hurt. Once the hard cast was in place, this was easy to put on and remove by myself. It was fine to get wet in the shower and it never leaked. I just made sure the seal was properly seated before getting in and dried off before removing...common sense stuff. I can see how this particular model might not fit someone who is very slender so that might need to be taken into consideration.

Works as advertised: does pretty good job protecting the cast.
