I had one from my mother for xmas 1976, ( I’m now 74) I’m passing my one down to my nephews son but wanted to find one for my nieces son that’s why I was happy to have found this. Great book tells you the meaning of all flowers.

This book was given to me as a gift years ago, and i refer to it often. Beautifully illustrated, this quirky little book is a perfect gift for anyone who loves flowers or appreciates the bygone age. The sleeve reveals the story behind the book which is lovely. I had long ago lost mine, so when i purchased it as a gift, it was lovely to read again. Would recommend as a keepsake . Beautiful.

This is a dear little book with a hand written list of the meanings of the flowers, like a little flower translation book. It is with this knowledge of the different sentiments of each flower that makes the giving of flowers a joy.

My wife, my daughter and I were at Botanica in Wichita, KS and saw this book at a fundraising book sale. I purchased it but my daughter liked it so much that we gave it to her.I wanted to get another copy for my wife. So, when looking this was about the most reasonable. The book was in great shape and nice to get. But, I ended up paying more that $50 for it. Kind of makes the $.50 book sale copy look really, really good.The book is a treat, well written and makes you think it was done at the turn of the century. Enjoy.

When I first saw a reference to this book on facebook I thought.."How interesting". After receiving it, I am in love. I love the fact that a man would take the time hand write this book for his wife. I am enthralled with everything about it and keep it beside my chair all the time. I have to pick it up and just look at the lovely little watercolor flowers that he painted on some of the pages.I would recommend this book to all of my friends who love flowers, have a bit of sentimentality or just are looking for something wonderful for a gift.

I love this little book ! I purchased it for a bridal shower gift, for my flower loving friend, as partof a flower themed gift. The book it adorable... illustrations are very pretty, and the meanings of the flowersare beautifully hand written. I liked it so much, I ordered another one. Thank you !
